The Global Risk Management Program Lead is responsible for activities related to Risk Identification and Managed reduction/closure for the Global Operations Services (GOS) Business. The scope includes the 14 NF, GES, I&C manufacturing sites, their external supply chain, IT, and logistics network. This role supports the Senior Manager, Global Risk Management, who is responsible for coordinating Site Risk Reviews, leading the GOS Risk Council, connecting the site-level processes up through the GOS staff and to the corporate Risk and EHS leadership. The work of this role is reported to GOS leadership. This role is also called upon to support risk and security of supply topics with external customer groups.

Your Day to Day:

  • Supports a Risk Management Strategy that ensures worker safety, limits community/environmental impact, and ensures customer delivery

  • Participates in an annual cycle of Risk Management activities that includes: Site risk assessments (SoS, EHS, Enterprise), risk prioritization, cross-functional risk reduction action planning, update of continuity plans, risk registers and risk maps, capital planning, cross-qualification, sourcing and inventory strategy, etc

  • Supports the maintenance of a Risk Scorecard with leading and lagging indicators that drives the correct actions to identify, classify, and manage business risk in the areas of Security of Supply, EHS, and Enterprise risk

  • Supports planning and execution of risk reviews at GOS facilities included in the Key Business Risk Program. Participates as a team member during risk reviews.

  • Supports an organizational development plan for risk that includes a RACI, Competency Assessment, Development Planning cycle, Risk Council, and Structured Communication Plan.

  • Supports materials used in Westinghouse communications forums, written and verbal, that require risk reporting

  • Participates in a collaborative environment that elevates risk, improves our management processes, engages cross-functional teams, and develops skills.

What you need to be successful in this role:

  • Minimum of a bachelor's degree with a preference for Environment, Health and Safety (EHS), Engineering, or Project Management

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Manufacturing Support or Risk focused activities, or experience in any combination of the following: Environment, Health and Safety, or Product/Program Management

  • Membership with a professional risk-management organization is beneficial.

Skills:

  • Product/Program Management, EHS (Regulatory Compliance, Risk Analysis, Operations Assessment), Customer relations, Westinghouse product and manufacturing process knowledge, etc.
