Responsible for leading the project activities of assigned program. Coordinates status reports as well as participating on teams and working with project staff and stakeholders to assure that requirements are incorporated within the project design.

Assigns work to team members to assure timely completion of project milestones and deliverables as appropriate. Develops policies and procedures as appropriate. Identifies and escalate issues following departmental guidelines.

Minimum Education

Bachelor's Degree

Minimum Work Experience
3 years Relevant work experience (Required)
1 year Relevant work experience with Masters degree (Preferred)

Experience with Developmental Disabilities and prior health experience (preferred)

Functional Accountabilities

Program Liaison
1.Lead the program by being the primary point person.
2.Serve as the liaison between CNHS and external stakeholders as needed
3.Manage program specific partnerships with various stakeholders including leadership at affiliated institutions.
4.Communicate barriers, challenges and any other issues that affect progress.

Budget and Financial Management
1.May be responsible for appropriate use of funds and resources.
2.Prepare documentation and projections to support new programs and the budget planning process.
3.Monitor monthly performance reports and budget variances and resolve discrepancies as needed.

4.Coordinates and schedules appointments, meetings and conferences with other CNMC departments and external customers.

VIEW JOBS 1/15/2019 12:00:00 AM 2019-04-15T00:00 The Project Lead Facilities Safety and Compliance is responsible for Life Safety, Environment of Care Standards, Statement of Conditions, Hazardous Waste and Asbestos Program. This position will lead, direct, and implement the programs listed above. The position will provide support to the Construction, Facilities, Environmental Services Department and Off-Site properties. The position will consult with the following standards: Joint Commission, DC Department of Health, EPA, DCRA, OSHA, Architects, Engineers, Construction Managers, Space Management, International codes & standards, and other regulatory agencies. Responsible to maintain all policies and procedures for all relevant areas within facilities, train staff as appropriate, and ensure all staff are in compliance with regulatory requirements. Minimum Education Bachelor's Degree - In Engineering or other related field required. (Required) Master's Degree - In Business Administration, Hospital Administration, Public Administration or other related regulatory field preferred. (Preferred) Minimum Work Experience 3 years Healthcare or other related industry experience required. (Required) Healthcare experience within the District of Columbia, Virginia, and Maryland preferred. (Preferred) Required Skills/Knowledge Expertise in the area of Joint Commission regulations including the requirements of Life Safety, Environment of Care Standards, Statement of Condition. Strong knowledge of EPA, OSHA, DOH and DCRA and other regulatory agencies. Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Archibus, and CAD Excellent customer service skills, collaborator and educator. Preferred: Demonstrated leadership and management skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Experienced in interpersonal communication. Functional Accountabilities Administration 1. Maintain, inspect, and update life safety program. 2. Manage, maintain and update the Statement of Conditions as required by regulatory agencies. 3. Maintain and update environment of care. Compliance 1. Review and ensure compliance with critical space and environmental testing. 2. Ensure full regulatory compliance and documentation with the Asbestos program. 3. Ensure full regulatory compliance and documentation for water management program. 4. Review and inspect compliance with hazardous waste regulations and documents. 5. Participate in pre-design review for regulatory compliance and best practices Staff Relations 1. Conduct weekly rounds of the facility. 2. Record, report, and coach staff how to correct deficiencies.
