About this opportunity

The Program Innovation Manager position will be responsible for driving digital innovation and excellence for the Americas Business Innovation, Optimization, and Strategic Programs organization. This role will work cross-functionally to identify and implement new technological capabilities for our doctors and consumers. This will include developing new ideas, working with vendors and internal stakeholders to implement those ideas, writing requirements, attending scrum ceremonies and effectively communicating with developers and internal stakeholders to drive business results. A successful candidate will have a business-savvy, entrepreneurial mindset along with a solid foundational knowledge of agile software development.

In this role, you will

Build excellent relationships with business development program stakeholders as well as internal sales, marketing, operations, and IT stakeholders.
Analyze customer and consumer needs for new and existing business development programs and develop technology roadmaps to support those needs.
Develop presentations and wireframes, with the support of marketing, to effectively communicate business cases and technology roadmaps to internal stakeholders.
Translate technology roadmaps into IT requirements for the application development teams.
Attend all scrum ceremonies and support the IT development team with business-related inquiries and required testing.
Constantly iterate and improve existing processes and technology.
Work with external vendors and partners to develop and drive new solutions to market.
Bridge manual process gaps for new programs where necessary and proactively recommend ways to automate those manual processes.
Resolves a wide range of issues in creative ways. Networks with senior internal and external personnel in own area of expertise.

In this role, you'll need

Proven success managing projects and Vendors
6+ years of experience in a business innovation or technical role
Knowledge of the agile development process
Business-savvy, entrepreneurial mindset
Bachelor's degree; preferably in Entrepreneurship, Business, Economics, Health Related Fields, Finance or Computer Science OR equivalent experience
Strong communication skills required
Ability to craft recommendations and present them effectively
Salesforce.com experience a plus
Database query skills are a big plus

The pilot/proof of concept phase has been completed through the engagement of well over 150 members of the marketing, finance, and procurement communities. Looking ahead As we move forward with this transformation, we will continue to invest a significant amount of time with our stakeholders to deliver the changes to technology and processes in a manner that will not disrupt their need to deliver on business results. In this role, you will be integral to the successful delivery of the Marketing Transformation program. The transformation is a complex project with stakeholders in marketing, finance, procurement, accounting and alliances. In addition, Marketing Transformation is integrated with many other transformation initiatives at Lenovo in sales, channel/partner management, and data architecture. The Technology Program Lead must be able to work in a deeply collaborative fashion with many stakeholders and across many integrated project workstreams. A deep understanding of marketing processes would be highly beneficial for the candidate who fills this role. In addition to strong collaborative skills, strong communication skills are essential. The ability to grasp and logically solve complex logistics and planning issues is a compelling asset for the person in this role. The ability to work across multiple BGs and functions but still understand the essential processes which must be supported with Project Eagle will be key to success in the role. The Marketing Transformation Technology leader will drive the end-to-end delivery of features and coordinate the back-end development of product components to support the Lenovo Marketing Platform and Lenovo.com. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical ability, excellent project management skills, great communication skills, and a motivation to achieve results in a fast-paced environment. They are responsible for delivering platform solutions and will work closely with the program managers to coordinate technical efforts and operational implementation processes.
