ABOUT THIS POSITION

The Program Excellence Consultant will lead tactics to implement best practices in Inspire program design (patient flow, program operations, care team collaboration, etc.) and build outreach strategies to develop more high performing Inspire programs. This role will have responsibility to perform program assessments, develop recommendations for improvement and monitor metrics for program excellence. The Program Excellence Consultant will report to the Director of Program Development.

OPPORTUNITIES YOU WILL HAVE IN THIS ROLE

  • Conduct Program Assessments:

  • Partner with sales and sales leadership to paint a clear picture for customers regarding expectations for program excellence.

  • Using the Inspire program playbook and excellence principals, provide remote and onsite assessments to help Inspire customers with considerations to address operational challenges in delivering patient care.

  • Facilitate Optimization Plans:

  • Coordinate with other functions and stakeholders (field, market access, training, etc.) to assist the customer in developing an excellence plan (clinical pathway development, patient experience and patient outcomes).

  • Identify and work with the field team to create partnerships with key clinical and executive staff within sleep medicine and sleep surgery services.

  • Support implementation of best practices at targeted sites within assigned area to guide programs towards achieving excellence standards.

  • Guide use of targeted resources and initiatives to increase the number of programs meeting excellence standards in the assigned area.

  • Support Market Development:

  • Educate Inspire programs on various ways to implement community awareness programs and conduct outreach and education for medical professionals likely to see OSA patients.

  • Use market data to guide efficient market development targeting and strategies.

  • Develop relationships with local sleep medicine clinic coordinators and Nurse Practitioner societies.

  • Work with sales and sales leadership to ensure excellence principals are established early in the program startup process within identified area.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business, nursing, science or engineering required.

  • Minimum of 8 years in medical device commercialization

  • Experience with healthcare service line operations

  • Experience with new medical technologies is preferred

  • Experience with basic lean six sigma concepts is preferred

  • Ability to travel frequently, including weekends

Preferred Qualifications

  • Clinical experience in nursing or advanced practice is preferred.
