What you'll do on a typical day:
Lead the development of effective growth strategies for the supply chain; drive new account growth through effective solutions development
Build and improve strategic relationships with the client's senior management team
Ensure annual profit, efficiency and quality goals are attained at each client engagement
Develop short-range and long-range plans and goals for the organization; ensure VOC/VOM KPIs are meaningful, aligned and achieved regularly
Direct capital expenditure and asset deployment activities; sustain Lean culture
Manage account-driven initiatives
Ensure customer contractual obligations are met
What you need to succeed at XPO:
At a minimum, you'll need:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent
10 years of experience
Superior knowledge of vertical supply chain and supply chain systems
Proven logistics industry/supply chain management knowledge
It'd be great if you also have:
Demonstrated leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively supervise, coach and influence employees
Solid financial acumen
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to present clean, organized and thorough information and data appropriate for intended audience
Strong project management skills and experience
Confidence to take calculated risks, make strategic, results-oriented decisions and accept responsibility for the results (positive or negative)
Ability to establish and maintain effective, collaborative work relationships both internally and externally
