Description
Job Summary
As the Program Director of the Woburn Community Justice Support Center, you are responsible for overseeing the development, implementation, and assessment of educational, vocational and wraparound support programs related to the clients of the program. Your role will involve curriculum design, staff supervision, client engagement, and fostering partnerships with local municipal courts, the Office of Community Corrections, and community organizations.
What You Will Be Doing to Make a Difference...
Maintain effective and positive working relationships with referral sources, including Probation, Parole, Sheriff's Department, Office of Community Corrections, colleagues, supervisor, employees, other agency programs, and other community-based agencies/referral resources
Review budget with CFO and Senior Management and maintain a balanced budget for program necessities (including petty cash and supplies)
Provide regular staff supervision
Maintain a comprehensive understanding and oversight of program contracts and proposals to include monitoring of program utilization and performance goals
Promote and lead agency culture of learning and respect to others as well as agency mission and strategic plan; empower staff in meeting the agency mission
Coordinate with Sheriff's Department/Office of Community Corrections to ensure safety and security of facilities and persons served
Oversee program safety and emergency evacuation plans
Implement evidence-based curriculum as required by OCC

Requirements
Master's degree in Clinical Psychology, Education, Counseling, Psychology, Rehabilitative Counseling or Social Work required, in process may be considered
Minimum 4 years experience in substance abuse counseling
2 years experience working within a correctional program or facility
2 years experience managing programs and supervising staff preferred
Experience with evidence-based substance abuse curriculum preferred.
Licensed clinician (LCSW, LICSW, LMHC) preferred; LADC recommended
Strong background and experience in addiction treatment
Strong writing skills
Computer proficiency
Valid MA driver's license with acceptable driving record and current proof of insurance.
Acceptable CORI and SORI background record check as required by program
