Job Title: Service & Support Director (House Manager)

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the overall management and operations of designated locations, including services, personnel, and administration.

• Delegate specified tasks while maintaining ultimate responsibility for their completion in accordance with policies and procedures.

• Ensure consistent compliance with Vista Care's mission and associated policies to guarantee the delivery of high-quality services and supports.

• Prioritize and uphold the treatment of all individuals with dignity and respect.

Qualifications:

• 5 years of relevant experience in a leadership role.

• Proficient in de-escalation techniques with effective decision-making abilities.

• Strong computer literacy for efficient oversight of operations.

• Superior problem-solving skills to navigate challenges with finesse.

• Crisis intervention skills to handle unexpected situations.

• Physical capability to bend, squat, push, pull, and lift up to 50 pounds.

• Punctual and regular attendance is mandatory.

Hours Worked:

• Full-time and exempt position with flexibility to accommodate various programs, personnel, and organizational needs.

• Availability for after-hour emergencies, phone calls, and on-call responsibilities.

• In the absence of trained staff, fulfill responsibilities of direct reports.

Duties:

• Keep staff informed of relevant issues in the field and community.

• Ensure adherence to policies and procedures.

• Train staff on supported individuals needs and house procedures.

• Daily operation of assigned residential facilities, complying with regulations.

• Ensure compliance with the Five Rights of Nursing Delegation.

Physical Location/Property:

• Responsible for assigned Vista Care physical locations.

• Monitor site maintenance and improvement, ensuring compliance with standards.

• Enforce policies and procedures related to physical site and property.

• Facilitate fire drills and risk management measures.

• Identify and report areas of risk or liability to the AD.
