Starting Compensation:

$85,825.05 -$98,683.63 annual salary based on experience.

Role:

Livingston County Community Mental Health is seeking an exceptional Clinical Program Director to oversee our Intake/Access and Emergency Services programs. In this crucial role, you will manage the teams responsible for providing the initial assessment, triage, and crisis intervention for individuals seeking mental health services.

As the Program Director of Intake/Access and Emergency Services, you will be the leader ensuring those in need receive prompt, compassionate, and clinically appropriate care when they first reach out. You will supervise the clinicians and the internal/external staff positions who conduct psychiatric evaluations, determine service eligibility, and coordinate next steps in the treatment process.

This fast-paced environment demands a strong crisis management professional to lead the emergency services team. You will oversee the clinicians responding to the crisis situations in the community after normal business hours. Your guidance and clinical expertise will be critical in delivering urgent intervention and stabilization. We are looking for a candidate to expand our emergency service models.

On a daily basis, your will provide clinical supervision/leadership, ensure comprehensive documentation, monitor compliance, and evaluate staff performance. You will develop operational policies and procedures to enhance service delivery workflows. Overseeing training will be key to maintaining best practices.

As a member of the administration team, you will collaborate with internal leaders and external partners. You will help manage departmental budgets and resources. Representing the agency with professionalism in the community will be vital. During all interactions, you will uphold our unwavering commitment to consumer rights and confidentiality standards.

The ideal candidate will possess a master's degree in a mental health field, current Michigan licensure, substantial experience in clinical leadership, and a passion for public service. Requirements to join us:

Job Specific Requirements:

Education: Possession of a master's degree or its equivalent in Social Work, Psychology or a related human services field.

Experience: Three to five years of professional experience in a mental health agency.

Other Requirements:

If degree is in Social Work, must be a Michigan Licensed Master's Social Worker (LMSW).

If degree is in Counseling, must be a Michigan Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC).

If degree is in Psychology, must be a Michigan Limited Licensed Psychologist (LLP) or Michigan Licensed Psychologist (LP).

Possession of a valid Michigan driver's license

Experience providing a supervision/leadership role.
