Position Summary:

Responsible for the leadership, vision, direction of all aspects of day-to-day programming of multiple music channels in the Classic Rock genre and in charge of scheduling music logs, developing and mentoring air-talent, writing imaging, and oversight of social media for channels.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Day-to-day music programming issues including song selection and categorization, library size, rotation rules and implementation of audience research.

  • Work with music coordinators, programmers, on-air hosts, and production staff to create entertaining non-musical content that appeals to the target audience including production elements, features, specials, interviews, and other information and entertainment.

  • Help determine songs and identify hooks for music research studies.

  • Coach on-air hosts on their delivery style, content and formatics.

  • Plan and execute promotional efforts to increase channel awareness, listenership and subscriber satisfaction.

  • Manage and develop on-air hosts.

  • Collaborate with producers, co-hosts, and associate producers to generate interesting show topics and schedule guests that will create lively dialogue that engages the interests of the audience.

  • Introduce promotions and ensure proper execution.

  • Promote hosts and special programming on channel and across the platform to maximize the growth of subscribers and listeners.

  • Monthly review on-air performance and establish on-going goals for hosts.

  • Carry out other programming related assignments as determined by the Vice President, Music Programming.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • None.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent, relevant experience.

  • A minimum of 5 years of music programming experience. Top 25 market experience preferred.

  • Strong relationships within broadcast and music industries.

  • Strong leadership and organizational skills.

  • Strong track record in developing creative and breakthrough programming.

  • Mastery of music scheduling and playback software.

Requirements and General

  • Good public speaking and presentation skills.

  • Interpersonal skills and ability to interact and work with staff at all levels.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

  • Ability to pay attention to details and be organized.

  • Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and multi-task, and work under shifting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

  • Must have legal right to work in the U.S.

Technical Skills:

  • Solid production skills with a strong working knowledge of audio equipment necessary for on-air and production execution.

  • Thorough knowledge of MS-Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Visio and Outlook).

VIEW JOBS 11/8/2018 12:00:00 AM 2019-02-06T00:00 Reporting to the SVP, Growth, the Program Director is responsible for leading the implementation of Healthfirst's strategic plan and aligning corresponding functional supporting strategies in order to execute. The individual will build strong working relationships across multiple operating units while contributing significantly to the Company's strategic priorities centered on growth and retention with specific focus on geographic expansion strategies. He/she will be part of a cross-functional growth leadership team responsible for negotiating and finalizing M&A deals as appropriate. * Leads alignment and implementation of Healthfirst's Growth Strategy * Direct partner with P&L leaders for each line of business enabling geographic expansion and supporting profit and loss accountability for the product set. Specifically to ensure that market segments are meeting growth and profitability targets at the product and geographic level. * The individual must be able to operate and execute in a complex functional and matrix management structure. The position will work closely with stakeholders and peers in Actuarial Services, Network Management, Broker & Employer Services, Marketing, Sales, Member Services, Business Transformation, Retail Strategy, and other functional areas. * Drive segmentation and targeting strategies and value proposition to ensure growth. S/he will provide leadership and direction to the product and sales teams develop critical relationships in the marketplace and collaborate cross functionally to ensure the product, network and sales teams are considered a strategic differentiator within the market. * Partner with Product leaders to review product performance; drive strategic direction of the product set within the portfolio strategy, and achievement of revenue and applicable profitability targets for all expansion initiatives. Develop an annual go-to-market plan. * Manages the process of developing, prospecting and recruiting potential M & A and joint venture targets, including in-person meetings, information gathering sessions and negotiating sessions * Engages executive management team and other members of the leadership team in identifying, assessing and executing strategies. Works closely, with potential strategic partners in developing business plan components, including business model and operational requirement and financial projection models. * Reviews the company's prior deal history and performance, and assess degree of success in implementing strategic plans and rationales for acquisitions, divestitures and other corporate transactions. Provide recommendations to Executive Leadership on critical changes and future best practices. * Preparing for/supporting key leadership meetings MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: * Progressive management experience in strategic planning and business development in the healthcare market, specifically in managed plans arena. * Experience directing multiple long-term, large-scale projects, facilitating executive level meetings, strategic planning and operational planning. * Ability to effectively lead projects in a highly "hands-on" manner that results in engagement, support and time 
commitment from various internal organizational as well as external resources. * Experience directing strategic and operational progress assessments. * Strong analytical, negotiation and financial acumen skills (modeling). * Strong presentation and communication skills. * Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: * Strong deal experience with successful results. * Master's Degree from an accredited institution. * Strong strategic and quantitative analysis skills, project management, negotiation, communication and leadership and
