Job Summary

AECOM is actively seeking a highly talented and motivated Program Director for immediate employment in our Orlando, FL office. Program Director will be in charge of development and implementation of large complex Convention Center. In this role as the program lead, the candidate will be responsible for a team of program management professionals and reporting to the client on program related issues.

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

  • Direct communications with the Orange County Chairman, County Administrator, Board of County Commissioners and local developers. Negotiate land purchases, including communicating with applicable state agencies

  • Collaborating closely with the master planner, designers and construction managers on all aspects of the project

  • Develop the master project schedule, maintain project budget, and oversee transportation projects that may support the OCCC expansion program.

  • Review construction documents, create and manage schedules, review and approve owner change orders, and perform site inspections for quality control

Minimum Requirements

  • 15+ years' relevant experience leading major Convention Center/K-12 programs in Florida totaling over $4 billion

  • Experience with major convention center renovations

  • Experience working with Orange County and other local agencies/jurisdictions in the Orlando area

  • Experience with Orange County Convention Center leadership or similar convention center managing entities

  • Experience managing a large team of program management professionals

  • Experience on the pre-design, design, construction and close out stages of large convention center/K-12 programs

  • Perform presentations to Commission, Boards and similar government entities

  • Communicate with executive leadership and other stakeholders

  • Excellent communication and writing skills

  • Experience with budgeting and scheduling of major convention center programs

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction, Architecture, Engineering or similar degree preferred but not required

  • PE, RA, or GC licensure preferred but not required

  • Experience with MS Project or Primavera preferred but not required

As a Senior Director of Program Optimization and Member Engagement you would be responsible for executing your position's responsibilities in alignment with our Spirit of Service culture and driving company success through performing the following tasks to the highest standards: The Senior Director of Program Optimization and Member Engagement is responsible for maximizing the lifecycle journey of the HGV Owner through relevent product targeting and engagement. This role provides a comprehensive view of all intersections between the Member and the enterprise across all contact channels to ensure the optimal journey. Responsible for further enhancing the existing customer journey map will include development of the "ideal" Owner progression to identify gaps and opportunities, drive deeper engagement, improved experience to ensure greater usage and loyalty. This will include influencing and aligning activities across the enterprises' functional organizations. This position will define and articulate the value proposition of each Owner tier and segment to simplify the adoption and usage of the Club membership. * Document the full Member lifecycle journey to measure the success rate of delivering the product promise made in the Sales process with the Owner experience post-closing. Clarify a common approach and process for successful collaboration and implementation across the organization to drive accountability throughout the Member journey. * Develop a lifetime Member value model and the critical touch points that influence increased purchase and transactional volume. Drive the knowledge and adoption of the model, strategy and tactics across the enterprise taking accountability for results and reporting of outcomes. * Dissect and redefine the Club program membership product across all tiers and develop persona strategies to drive Member engagement and loyalty. Define differentiated standards/value opportunities where applicable based upon Voice of the Customer (VoC) and market trends. This includes direct support in key new growth markets to enable successful value proposition delivery. * Influence alignment and create consensus amongst all lines of business on how to deliver greatest value to customers / club members to drive profitability. Define the value of the customer / club member. Work with lines of business to determine the differentiated experience, and how it will be delivered. Determine customer segmentation as appropriate to drive ROI. Create optimization models to determine best investment decisions. Create common language set and definitions for the customer / club member experience. * Project lead and manage critical customer optimization initiatives, such as the MRM 360 Platform, from start to completion and roll out to include education and training ensuring adoption and usage. This will include management of consultants and internal project teams across the enterprise. * Establish metrics for defining the relationship with the customer / club member. Develop simple metrics to manage customer as an asset through voice of the customer competency development, real-time issue trending and tracking. * Facilitate the development of the accountability action chain, establishing the approaches and implementation of research to understand customer loyalty and ROI. Drive tracking of key interactions, process alignment, define reporting routines, develop effective tools for messaging, driving cultural change to one of accountability.
