The Program Director will have primary responsibility for the efficient operation of the Range Family Resource Center in Virginia, Minnesota, which includes a 6-bed Crisis Shelter for children and youth aged 0-17 (including oversight of budgets and finances, personnel management, strategic planning, and fundraising); supervise a Program Manager who oversees the day-to-day operation of the LSS Range Crisis Shelter; develop new approaches to meet emerging needs of the children and families served; integrate Crisis Shelter services with the Families First Act and the related changes to child welfare policy and practice; advance best practices, and ensure culturally relevant trauma-informed care. We are open to a staff person who is based in Virginia, Duluth or other NE Minnesota communities.
Seeking a dynamic leader to oversee the Range Family Resource Center. Utilizing a strengths-based & trauma-informed approach, Range FRC provides support to children and youth in crisis. Great colleagues, meaningful work, starting salary of $55,000-$58,000.
Bachelor's degree in related field required
MSW licensed social worker or Master's degree in a related field preferred
5 years of experience as a manager or supervisor.
Excellent writing skills are necessary as well as the ability to speak publically to promote the services.
Knowledge regarding homeless population and housing programs strongly preferred
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills required.
Knowledge of Word and Excel computer programs to execute job duties.
Service line knowledge specific to the populations served.
