Development Officer Asante Foundation- Position Overview

The Development Officer generates financial and community support for Asante through the Asante Foundation. Responsibilities include: collaborating with the Major Gift Officers (MGO) team, planning, organizing, and implementing assigned programs and events for Asante Foundation with a focus on donor prospect

management. Making presentations to interested organizations, individuals and corporate solicitations as well as acting as a representative of Asante Foundation internally. All duties are performed in a manner consistent with the mission statement and guiding values of Asante Foundation and Asante.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education

Bachelor's Degree required

Experience
2 years of successful fundraising experience in a non-profit or related environment, including: major gifts, annual giving, corporate relations, direct

mail and grant writing. Experience in planning, implementing, and coordinating project work activities. Ability to work with donors and volunteers.

Experience with database and research technique. Experience in event organization. Working knowledge of computer programs such as but not

limited to Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

POSITION SUMMARY The Volunteer Services Trainer is responsible for streamlining and maintaining successful education programs for Asantes volunteers, as well as researching and aligning educational resources with strategic focus areas. In addition to planning and leading Volunteer training initiatives, this individuals responsibilities also include monitoring quality and performance metrics, keeping the Supervisor apprised of results, and using data to identify and develop targeted opportunities for staff development in all areas of the health systems revenue cycle. Training and auditing work will exclusively be with volunteers and will include both outpatient, emergency and outpatient department settings. This role would work collaboratively with the unit councils and the Volunteer Services Leadership Team to ensure information and updates are appropriately communicated.
