The UCF Center for Community Schools in the College of Community Innovation and Education is a practice-based organization that provides community school technical assistance, university-assisted partnerships, training and development, and assessment and evaluation.

The Opportunity:

UCF's College of Community Innovation and Education Center for Community Schools is currently accepting applications for a Program Coordinator. This role within the Unlimited Potential Initiative (UPI) facilitates the achievement of UPI outcomes by supporting the Research Associate to help develop and implement Florida community schools. The Program Coordinator facilitates the planning, development and delivery of UPI programs and support services that meet the needs of UPI universities and districts in achieving exceptional outcomes in improved student learning, stronger families, and healthier communities.

This is a Contract and Grant (C&G) funded position. Employment is subject to availability of funding and may cease at the time funding for this employment is depleted.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the UPI Research Associate in overseeing systems for statewide evaluation and technical assistance efforts.

  • Support UPI grant, partnership, and initiative.

  • Assist the Research Associate in the management of the day-to-day operations of the project.

  • Support the administration, planning, and coordination of the project and its role in the development of community schools.

  • Coordinate project tasks and technical assistance for program development and implementation of programs, services and collaborative partnerships.

  • Serve as a point of contact and resource for internal and external stakeholders of the UPI project.

  • Organize feedback and data from stakeholders under the guidance of the Research Associate to share with the UPI Training Academy and project leadership as part of a continuous improvement cycle.

  • Collaborate across university partners, programs, and departments to meet the goals and objectives of the project.

  • Connect project resources with partner universities to increase student success measures (early learning, attendance, behavior, performance) through the provision of technical assistance and evaluation.

  • Other duties as assigned to help advance the vision, mission, and goals of the project.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree and 2+ years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience pursuant to Fla. Stat. 112.219. Click here for more information

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree.

  • Experience in grant administration and support.

  • Ability to be flexible in times of change.

  • Ability to be adaptable in a high-demand and changing environment.
