The primary role of the Program Coordinator-Stroke is to develop, implement, and maintain evidence-based care strategies to improve clinical outcomes for stroke patients in a hospital care setting. The Program Coordinator-Stroke will support development of care processes that results in efficient, safe and high quality care for stroke patients. This individual will work as part of an interdisciplinary team, and will collaborate with state and national organizations to ensure high quality and innovative clinical care is provided to stroke patients.
Fri; 8:00 am
5:00 pm; other hours as needed with travel to other centers throughout the Marshfield Clinic Health System 1 day per week.
Education qualifications must be from a school whose accreditation is recognized by Marshfield Clinic Health System.
Minimum Required: Bachelor's degree in Nursing
Preferred/Optional: Master's Degree in Nursing or Certification in Neuroscience Nursing preferred.
Minimum Required: Five years of relevant clinical experience and be experienced in the process of critical inquiry to improve clinic practice. Demonstrated nursing and systems knowledge and be able to relay this to colleagues, health professionals, allied health professionals, health care consumers, and professional/public organizations.
The following licensure(s), certification(s), registration(s), etc., are required for this position, which must be maintained in good standing:
Minimum Required: Current Wisconsin Registered Nurse license but be maintained and in good standing.
