The Smidt Heart Institute is searching for an outstanding and self-motivated Program Coordinator to support program management efforts.

About the Role
Under the direction of leadership, the Program Coordinator will be responsible for the development, implementation, and evaluation of the Smidt Heart Institute's marketing and outreach efforts.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Helps foster a collaborative, dynamic, and positive relationship with internal and external parties.
May be responsible for providing any applicable education, training, on-boarding and/or mentorship pertaining to program/project.
May offer feedback to management and make recommendations regarding program/project operations and/or procedures.
Interfaces with Marketing & Communications and Client Services departments, along with leaders and faculty across the organization and other partners in the administration of the program, including marketing and outreach efforts.
Identifies and defines any logistics, action items or information needed to maintain operations.
Coordinates and maintains marketing and outreach projects, which may include tracking deadlines, results, communication with management and/or stakeholders.
Develop and maintain existing Smidt Heart Institute website presence.
Provides coordination of external and Cedars-Sinai referral sources as advised by leadership.
Organizes and coordinates all featured events, outreach activities, meetings and materials/collateral. May actively represent the program and/or the organization.
Responsible for creating reports for management in the evaluation of the Heart Institute's performance or day-to-day operations. May also be responsible for documenting and tracking program compliance.
Composes and maintains inventory of marketing materials.
Additional Qualifications we are looking for:
Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare, Business Administration or Management, preferred.
3 years of organizational program or project coordination/support experience, preferred.
Ability to initiate, plan, design, execute, and monitor project(s).
Ability to edit material and ensure correct punctuation, spelling and grammar.
Ability to prioritize multiple tasks frequently with short timelines.
Ability to interact effectively with Directors, Managers, patients, internal staff and representatives of public agencies and businesses.
