We are seeking a Program Coordinator to join our Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities Services (IDD) division in New Castle, DE.

Salary: Earn up to $58,900.00/Annually with Enhanced Pay

POSITION OVERVIEW

This position maintains oversight of residential programs as assigned; Program Coordinator acts as lead team member for Merakey in LSP meetings; team meetings, etc; creates ISPs in THERAP and monitors progress to ensure goals are being met; supervises House Manager, House Aids, and Medical Coordinators; ensures staffing schedules are maintained; works with Merakey management team to ensure staff maintain all training requirements; provides supervision and oversight to assigned staff to include disciplinary action when warranted; On call responsibilities and flexibility in weekly schedule to meet individual needs.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

• Implements program policy and procedure according to program regulations and guidelines.

• Provides counseling and support to individuals who receive services.

• Overall responsibility for daily operation of residential and/or day program as identified.

• Overall responsibility for programmatic planning for all individuals identified in caseload to include annual ISP, medical and/or behavior support plan, etc.

• Works closely with nursing department to ensure health and safety of individuals receiving services.

• Acts as auditor of medication administration within programs in conjunction with Med Admin Coordinator.

• Administers medications when deemed necessary and provides practicum observations.

• Assist in programmatic start up activities, as necessary.

• Participate in interviewing and hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSP) and House Managers for all programs.

• Act as primary supervisor to House Managers as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Human Service or related field required.

• 3 years of supervisory experience in a residential setting

• Knowledge of Delaware DDDS and proficient with THERAP preferred.

• A valid driver's license is required.

• Must be at least 21years old.
