Job Description:

The Project Management COE has an immediate need for a thought leader to join the team as we continue to maintain our sphere of influence while transitioning into the new Agile environment. The expectation of the new team member will be to plug in immediately and provide ongoing support to existing processes and manage a global year-round training program while being a part of the strategic transformation of the BE organization. This is a demanding role with significant opportunity for the right individual as we will continue to look for ways to evolve in 2018 to continue to provide value in the ever changing environment.

Scope of Role & Complexity

The Center for Pediatric Traumatic Stress (CPTS) is a Center within the National Child Traumatic Stress Network that focuses on the development of empirically based screening and intervention for children and families who have experienced traumatic stress due to pediatric illness and injury. The Center's mission is to reduce medical traumatic stress by promoting trauma-informed health care, integrating practical evidence-based tools into pediatric medical care, and ensuring that health care providers are knowledgeable and skilled in trauma-informed care with diverse youth and their families. CPTS is co-located at A.I. DuPont Hospital for Children in Wilmington, DE and The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP). We are seeking a full-time Program Coordinator. The Program Coordinator will be responsible for developing, evaluating, and disseminating training for multidisciplinary pediatric providers in trauma-informed assessment and intervention. The scope of CPTS is national and our activities involve in-person and on-line training. Essential duties include developing provider and patient/family materials and training activities; coordinating training programs for health and mental health providers; assisting with implementing the Psychosocial Assessment Tool (PAT) in diverse hospital settings; liaison with community agencies; participation in CPTS data collection and evaluation, presentation and publication. The Program Coordinator will report directly to Anne E. Kazak, Ph.D., ABPP, co-Director of CPTS and Director of the Nemours CHDS. Candidates must have a Masters degree in a behavioral or health-related science and relevant clinical and/or research experience. Proficiency with Microsoft computer software is required.
