Job Description:

The Project Management COE has an immediate need for a thought leader to join the team as we continue to maintain our sphere of influence while transitioning into the new Agile environment. The expectation of the new team member will be to plug in immediately and provide ongoing support to existing processes and manage a global year-round training program while being a part of the strategic transformation of the BE organization. This is a demanding role with significant opportunity for the right individual as we will continue to look for ways to evolve in 2018 to continue to provide value in the ever changing environment.

Scope of Role & Complexity

  • Will influence and/or shape mid to short term objectives

  • May be required to have business-specific skills and will have significant exposure to broad department activities

  • Independent thought and action on important department activities

  • SharePoint development and maintenance knowledge is needed

VIEW JOBS 10/16/2018 12:00:00 AM 2019-01-14T00:00 Essential Functions: * Individual will be responsible with ensuring the delivery of high quality programs and highly motivated staff while continually providing sustainable initiatives and programs that enhance the well-being of everyone. * Supports the management of the daily operations of the teen staff team to ensure all programs are being offered with a high standard for customer service and safety * Leads all teen center activities in the evening hours * Plans and coordinates all Kids Club and half day programs * Observes staff at least monthly for effectiveness in the classroom including interactions, behavior management and lesson delivery * Maintains positive relationships & effective communication with staff, members, parents, participants and volunteers. Engage parents as volunteers * Knows/reviews all emergency procedures and responds to emergency situations immediately in accordance with YMCA policies and procedures. Completes related reports as required and updates policies where necessary * Ability to work between the hours of 7:00 am – 7:00 pm (will vary as scheduled with frequent split shifts) for majority of the year with an adjusted availability of 7:00 am – 9:00 pm from June – August. Frequent Saturday shifts are required. Minimum Requirements: * Minimum age of 21. * Previous experience preferred as a supervisor, lead teacher or school age site coordinator. * Qualification as or ability to qualify as, at least, a School Age Site Assistant though Delaware First/Delaware Department of Education. * CPR, First Aid, AED certifications, Child Abuse Prevention, Blood borne Pathogens and Sexual Harassment training within 30 days of hire date. * Proficient in MS Word, Excel & Outlook with the ability to learn YMCA of Delaware systems including registration, budget management, payroll system, scheduling system and statistical reporting systems.
