Job Description

Program Coordinator is pivotal in the success of recruiting top-tier professionals. They facilitate the sourcing process, offer strategic insights, and employ analytical skills to bolster brand recognition through community engagement and relationship cultivation.

This is a full-time position requiring in-person attendance for community meetings, while administrative tasks and project planning can be accomplished remotely. Program Coordinator may be required to travel to other markets in the support of establishing new Executive Connections programs outside of Charleston.

The Program Coordinator's key responsibilities include coordinating all marketing activities in tandem with the Executive Connections and Executive Search teams. This involves liaising directly with candidates to understand their needs, partnering with Project Consultants in Charleston and future markets included in expansion, engaging with local organizations to glean insider community insights, and building and maintaining our online presence.

Furthermore, the Program Coordinator is tasked with directly engaging candidates, connecting newcomers with local resources and businesses, conducting Charleston-area research, research in markets where ExecConnect expands to, and identifying relevant activities, sites, and information crucial for candidates considering relocation.

A deep understanding of the community is essential to effectively showcase the lifestyle prospects for candidates relocating to Charleston. Additionally, there's a focus on expansion of Executive Connections by supporting Charleston's network growth and aiding MUSC candidates.

Expansion efforts in MUSC's regional health network by establishing Executive Connections teams in each market and candidate resources as part of the service. The Program Coordinator will partner with Project Consultants in new markets to establish resources relevant to their community and area.

Program Coordinator is responsible for all marketing and social media efforts to expand into the Charleston metro area and across other markets. They will drive business growth by developing and executing strategies that boost brand awareness, attract clients, and engage the community. Ensuring alignment between marketing initiatives and business objectives through internal collaboration will be critical to success.

Program Coordinator will create compelling social media content for Charleston and other future markets while maintaining brand consistency and managing all interactions over these platforms on a regular basis. They will conduct market research to tailor marketing efforts and analyze performance metrics for continuous improvement. The Program Coordinator will serve as a brand ambassador at community events and conferences focusing on making a meaningful impact on the community.

Job Responsibilities include:

Executive Connection Marketing Execution

  • Plan and execute online documentation and posts across social media platforms. Manage and coordinate multiple projects simultaneously to ensure timely completion.

    Identify marketing opportunities within the community to enhance brand awareness and services by performing data analysis. Align projects with company goals and strategies. Responsible for online reputation and status. Support establishing marketing resources for new ExecConnect locations.

Business Relationships

  • Creates, maintains, and helps establish business relationships on behalf of Executive Connections around the greater Charleston, South Carolina area.

Expansion of Executive Connections

  • Support expansion within MUSC Charleston, the Regional Health Network, and the external market. Conduct market research and competitive analyses to support growth plans.

Stakeholder Experience

  • Supports the management and helps to facilitate the experience of all stakeholders involved from initiation to completion of a project.

Executive Search Support

  • Aid in the candidate pipeline process from start to finish from sourcing potential candidates, helping with the interview process, aiding with their Executive Connections onsites as needed, and ensuring all aspects of the candidate pipeline go as planned. Serve as the marketing liaison for Executive Search and Connections to ensure all materials needed are executed.

Other Responsibilities

  • A Program Coordinator must be able to function in a flexible, fast-paced environment and be able to adjust as change occurs. The needs of Executive Connections may vary at any given time depending on client/candidate demand and workload.

Additional Job Description

A bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business administration or equivalent relevant field; and a minimum of three years' experience in project or event management or master's degree in a relevant discipline completed within 1 year of hire (MBA, MHA, MS, etc.).

Considerable knowledge and experience in managing or coordinating projects, including meeting support, documentation, planning, and monitoring tasks and deliverables. Detailed oriented, critical thinking, problem solving, professional communication, organizational and time management skills essential.

Experience in relationship management or hospitality, demonstratable problem-solving project management experience and skills.

Experience analyzing data and developing meaningful information to support decision making preferred. Proficient in use of SharePoint, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Visio, Excel, project management tools/CRM software (Microsoft Dynamics 365), Google MyMaps, and others as needed is preferred.

Strong knowledge of Charleston, South Carolina, and the surrounding communities, civically engaged and involved as a leader and promoter in the region, bringing networks and information to the table. Has demonstrated in previous work the ability to partner and collaborate with community business and organizations in various industries.

The candidate must excel in managing multiple roles and experiences simultaneously, showcasing robust project management abilities. While not mandatory, familiarity with the Medical University of South Carolina would be advantageous, particularly in supporting the Physician Recruitment initiative. Additionally, knowledge of other key market organizations in the Charleston area would be beneficial, as Executive Connections aims to expand its client base beyond the local scope.
