Job Description:
This is a one-year temporary position that is up for renewal in July, 2025.

Reporting to the Business & Media Department Chair, the Program Coordinator II is responsible for supporting Business & Media programs with enrollment management, student program navigation, community outreach and marketing, and serving as the liaison with industry partners.
Community Outreach & Marketing:
Industry Partnership Liaison:
Scheduling industry partners for on-campus talks
Scheduling and management of industry partners for on-campus hiring events
Coordination of work-based learning opportunities
Program metrics and placement
Employment support for graduating students
Employment management for outside entities (partner with Career Services)
Enrollment Management:
Process and program navigation for prospective students
Program guidance for incoming students.
Scheduling for incoming students
Registration overrides and planning
Alum contact for placement and employment metrics
Student Success Management:
Program guidance for current students - schedule setting
Assists with graduation applications for certificates and AAS degree
Student navigation of internal processes
Scholarships liaison (as available)
Department contact for Concurrent Enrollment
Fiscal & Budgetary Responsibility:

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree; Plus
Three (3) years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and/or work experience.
This position requires the use of a company vehicle and/or personal vehicle for business travel. The selected candidate must successfully pass an MVR and be insurable under Aims insurance.
Experience in a position which required developing constructive and cooperative working relationships with others, and maintaining them over time.
Experience in a position working with customers, employees, clients or students which could include teaching, training, advising, or other related support.
Experience working effectively with students, including those at risk, non-traditional, and under prepared.
Experience in a position requiring proficient communication skills, both verbal and written.
Experience in a position requiring competency in organizing data, maintaining files, and preparing reports.
Experience in a position requiring ability to work effectively with both individuals and groups.
Preferred Qualifications
Master's Degree in Business, Counseling, Education, Project Management, Media Arts or related field;
Plus five (5) years of relevant work experience in career development/counseling, job coaching/placement;
Experience in higher education or workforce development; experience with Federal Department of Labor grants, experience working in successful partnerships between colleges, community agencies, governmental entities and/or private businesses; strong knowledge of financial aid processes.
Demonstrated experience specific to identifying the training needs of others and coaching, mentoring, or otherwise helping others to improve their knowledge or skills.
Demonstrated experience working in or with graphic design, media arts and video, audio, radio broadcasting profession clusters.
Experience in meeting grant, department, or job placement goals.
