The Program Coordinator I plays a pivotal role in supporting the holistic well-being and success of students by providing comprehensive case management and administrative database support to the student conduct and student support follow up processes. This position assists the Residential Student Support Manager with student concerns and the Associate Director with managing administrative aspects of the student conduct process and utilizing rapid threat assessment training to support campus safety. The Program Coordinator I maintains a small caseload of their own and serves as a vital liaison between students, faculty, and administrative staff to foster a supportive and conducive learning environment.

Salary: Commensurate based on hire's experience
Position Details: Duties include needed ability to climb stairs, see, use a video display terminal, talk and hear, travel from building to building. Occasional weekend and after-hours work required. May participate in an on-call duty rotation.
Qualifications
Required Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree
2 or more years of work experience
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to collaborate effectively within a team
Strong organization skills
Strong administrative skills
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's degree in higher education, social work, counseling, or related field
Prior experience in college student support or crisis intervention roles
Understanding of the challenges faced by college students in on-campus housing
Experience in crisis intervention, student support, or related roles
Experience with mental health training, suicide prevention training, or other related education or expertise
Strong crisis intervention skills, effective collaboration with the support team, and a proactive approach to addressing academic, mental health, and behavioral challenges faced by on-campus residents
Essential qualities include exceptional communication, strategic thinking for resource optimization, and the ability to design and implement educational initiatives
