Are you an enthusiastic, creative candidate with experience working with and a love of children? JCC Greater Boston (JCC) is seeking a self-motivated Program Coordinator who will be responsible for coordinating both operational and programmatic elements of the dynamic Family Programming department. With the launch of our new Family Wing this fall, this is a very exciting time to join the team!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Programmatic

  • Providing support to Discovery After School Club classrooms, greeting and escorting children ages 3-9 yrs to and from enrichment activities throughout the JCC building

  • Supporting the Discovery Club Director with program development, coordination and implementation in the After School program

  • Researching and coordinating children's enrichment programming

  • Supporting family events and programs with planning, logistics coordination and day-of presence

  • Being a creative thought-partner in planning and executing successful programming in Discovery Club, Youth & Children's Programming, Magic Ark, and supporting the needs of families

  • Administrative/Operational

  • Managing data entry and web content around classes and programs

  • Working with program and class instructors coordinating trainings, logistics, and schedules

  • Facilitating class and program registration for families

  • Providing administrative support to the Head of Family Programming and the Family Programming Team

  • Assisting with the operations and maintenance of the new Family Wing spaces at the JCC

  • Managing records for children enrolled in Discovery After School Club

  • Supporting Director of Discovery Club/Youth Specialist with daily operations and management of the After School program

  • Other responsibilities and tasks, as assigned, as the team and programming evolve and grow

Minimum Qualifications:


  • 1-3 years of experience in a related field

  • Bachelor of Arts

  • Excellent written and interpersonal skills

  • Highly organized and process oriented; both focused and flexible

  • Ability to work well in a busy, dynamic environment involving multiple tasks and priorities

  • Ability to work effectively with a diverse group of children, families, instructors, educators, and co-workers

  • Experience working with children in formal or informal settings preferred

  • Experience working with database management, scheduling, programmatic work in event coordination and program development desirable

  • Requires a combination of weekday, and occasional evening and weekend work

The Programming Coordinator reports to both the Head of Family Programming and the Director of Discovery Club/Youth Programs Specialist. The Family Programming is a growing and vibrant team and this is role offers many opportunities to have a significant impact.

Jewish Learning Adventures for Kids! Discovery Club engages kids in grades K-3 with interactive workshops that fuse their interests with Jewish content. With topics ranging from cooking to chess and drumming to farming, children are able to connect with Jewish values and culture through skill-building activities that nurture their specific interests.

Burns & McDonnell is growing and seeking a Building Information Model (BIM) Coordinator to expand the Aviation & Federal group. We are looking for an energetic architect to collaborate with our existing office in Newton, MA, by immediately supporting our work at Boston Logan International Airport. This position will be located at the airport full-time and report directly to our Massport Program Manager. We are seeking an individual with leadership potential, who has the skills and experience to grow their career and interface with clients. The selected candidate: * Authors the BIM Project Execution Plan (PXP) for an overall program consisting of several external Design Teams working on major projects at the airport. * Manages and ensures consistency of Building Information Modeling (BIM) standards, training and practices. * Attends all BIM kick-off meetings. * Attends all project kick-off meetings. * Interfaces with client and all subconsultants. * Coordinates the BIM activities of external Design Teams. * Coordinates setup of shared file servers as necessary with external Design Teams. * Integrates external Design Teams' BIM models into single airport-wide BIM model compliant with BIM PxP. * Reviews and helps manage BIM file sizes. * Coordinates overall BIM file management. * Runs clash detection routines and distributes reports to various project teams. * Audits all BIM models for compliance with BIM standards. * Verifies all assembly codes in the BIM models are properly selected. * Coordinates with external Construction Management (CM) Teams. * Facilitates coordination between external Design and CM Teams. * Creates and distributes file folder organization, standards, and requirements for all design submissions. * Coordinates consistency with submission dates. * Reviews and comments on external design document submittals. * Coordinates deliverables between external Design Teams and Authority. * Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree in architecture from accredited program. * Minimum 3 years related experience (completion of master's degree in related field may be substituted for one year of experience). * Excellent written & verbal communication skills. * Must have advanced capabilities in Revit, Autodesk 360, AutoCAD, Navisworks, Dynamo (BIM), Bentley ProjectWise, & Microsoft Office Suite (with focus on Excel, Word, Outlook), Adobe Photoshop, Bluebeam. * Strong analytical and problem solving skills. This position requires an individual capable of applying intensive and diversified knowledge of principles and practices to broad areas of assignments. * Must be capable of devising new approaches to problems encountered. * Previous consulting experience preferred.
