PathPoint, a leader in providing support services that empower people with disabilities, mental illness, and disadvantages to be valued members of our community, is seeking a full-time Program Coordinator to lead our Employment Services team in Chatsworth, CA. Our Employment Services provide training and support to adults with developmental disabilities, enabling them to find and maintain successful and meaningful employment. We're looking for an enthusiastic and organized team leader who has prior experience working with people with disabilities. Our ideal candidate is a model of leadership, professionalism, and teamwork.

The Program Coordinator ensures the quality, effectiveness, and efficiency of the Employment Services program. The schedule for this position is Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm with occasional weekends.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise a team of direct support professionals, including hiring, training, assigning duties, and performance evaluation. Meet with staff regularly address any issues and concerns and to develop creative and proactive supports for persons served in the program.

  • Work on securing contracts by meeting with prospective employers, evaluating the work site, determining feasibility and performing task analyses.

  • Ensure that time studies are conducted in compliance with set timelines and all legal requirements.

  • Lead monthly staff meetings.

  • Document hours of service provided to each individual and prepare monthly billing for the program.

  • Monitor contract compliance to ensure that statements of work are followed and the quality of work meets employer standards.

  • Serve as a liaison between employers, funding agencies, families, service providers, government agencies, and PathPoint.

  • Provide direct support when needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Education, or related field is preferred.

  • 2+ years working with individuals with disabilities is required.

  • Prior supervisory experience is strongly preferred.

  • Must pass Live Scan DOJ fingerprint background check, TB screening and basic health screening.

  • Must have a valid driver's license with at least 5 years driving history, a clean driving record, and use of a vehicle with current registration and insurance.

  • Strong communication and public relations skills.

  • Strong computer skills, including MS Office, email, and Internet.

Compensation and Benefits: $18.00 per hour. General Summary: Under the supervision of the Subsidy Assistant Director, the Program Training Manager will be responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring training programs within the Subsidy division. Oversight of training feedback, evaluates productivity, and oversees the process of Professional Development Plans. The Manager will work closely with the HR Training & Development Manager to blend, synergize and develop Subsidy with Agency offered staff development resources and trainings. Key areas of responsibility include the ability to: * Provide oversight of the program's training curricula including Case Management, Authorization, Payments, Databases and Subsidy's Supportive Services. * Develop a training plan that addresses the needs of the Subsidy Division and collaborate with managers and supervisors to develop individualized plans for their staff. * Maintain current knowledge of CCL, Title 22, Title 5, Funding Terms and Conditions and other federal, state and local regulations at all times. * Create and implement an effectice onboarding plan and determine training needs for new staff and in-service trainings. * Analyze and evaluate reports determining the impact of training on employee skills and how it affects performance indicators. * Maintain updated curriculum, module databases (LMS) and training records. * Maintain a keen understanding of training trends, developments and best practices in Subsidy programs, Strenght-based Case Management practices and Early Care and Education. * Provide Train- the Trainer sessions for internal subject matter experts. Job Requirements: * BA/BS in Social Services, Business, Education, Human Resources or relevant field required. Master's Degree in Social Services, Business, Education, Human Resources or relevant field preferred; or minimum of three (3) years of equivalently related work experience in Training. * Preferred experience of Subsidy Programs and Early Childhood Education with knowledge of Title 5, Title 22 and Community Care Licensing (CCL). * Familiarity with traditional and modern training methods (mentoring, coaching, on-the job or in classroom training, e-learning, workshops and simulations, etc.) * Valid California Driver's License, reliable vehicle, current auto insurance, and clean DMV record required.
