Who we are looking for:
ASCO has a fantastic opportunity for a high-performing Program Coordinator to successfully contribute and support the Education department in the implementation and facilitation of ASCO Advantage Programs.

This position is hybrid, with a primary location in Alexandria, VA. We anticipate the hire to be onsite approximately 1-2 days per week.
Responsibilities
Support all aspects of the development and implementation of ASCO Advantage programs, choosing among established solutions to best address situations
Lead orientation calls with faculty prior to course execution; provide direct onsite and/or virtual logistical support to volunteers including final presentation materials, troubleshooting technical issues, and sharing proper tools and best practices
Utilize slide templates to format and edit content within existing project parameters as slides are received from ASCO Advantage volunteers, and format and upload supporting teaching and learning resources as needed
Follow established standards and make concrete, procedural improvements for in-person live events, online education, and other related materials
Create internal timelines and SOPs for staff assisting in ASCO Advantage course execution, send and manage calendar invites for internal staff and external volunteers to confirm expected time commitments for in-person and virtual presentations
Provide direct support to faculty members including assistance with invitation follow up, call scheduling, and hotel/travel arrangements
Combine and edit presentation videos and audio for use in hybrid ASCO Advantage courses
Provide direct onsite support to attendees participating in ASCO Advantage programs as needed, including assistance with registration and on-site materials
Provide exemplary customer service in all interactions across ASCO Advantage in person, by e-mail, and by phone
Required Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree in an appropriate area of specialization
2 - 3 years of comparable administrative and customer service experience
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications; openness to embracing new technology
Familiarity in administrative scheduling support including coordinating meetings and/or events logistics
Preferred Education and Experience
Programmatic and/or administrative support experience within a nonprofit environment
Previous experience with video editing software

ADA/Physical Requirements
Extended periods seated or standing at a desk.
High use of computer and other office technology equipment.
