Overview

The Residential Program Coordinator

  • MH Services is responsible for the oversight of a Residential Program including supervision and evaluation of staff.

The Residential Program Coordinator schedule is typically first shift Monday-Friday with occasional evenings and weekends as needed by the Program.

The Residential Program Coordinator

  • MH Services rotates an emergency beeper at regular intervals.

Responsibilities Hire, supervise, mentor and evaluate Program Supervisor and Counselors. Participate in the development and implementation of component goals, objectives, and work plan tasks that are directed toward accomplishing the Agency's Mission and Vision.

Facilitate weekly staff meeting. Develop and manage program budget. Ensure optimum program coverage through the development and monitoring of the schedule.

Develop program structures and routines which promote a therapeutic milieu which fosters growth and development for all. Responsible for collaborating with Licensed Clinicians and other Trans-disciplinary Team members to complete all Assessments, Individualized Action Plans, Service Notes and Periodic Reviews according to prescribed timelines. Responsible for the implementation of high quality rehabilitation according to each persons Individualized Action Plan.

Assist in the collection, analysis and timely reporting of all rehabilitation billing. Responsible for accurate and timely Events Reporting to the networks' Administrative Assistant Monday through Friday. Collaborate with Individuals Served, Licensed Clinician, Registered Nurse, and other members of the team in the implementation and monitoring of any self management and health and wellness plans and activities.

Facilitate and monitor the implementation of activities that create opportunities for the development of valued roles and personal relationships in the community. Develop and monitor the implementation of all procedures that ensure the health, safety, and well being of individuals served. Responsible for the correct implementation of all prescribed medical and medication protocols in accordance with agency and MAP policies.

Participate in the Quality Improvement process including conducting Surveys and developing/implementing corrective action plans. Develop and monitor all procedures that ensure the physical safety and cleanliness of the program. Assist people to access, and/or provide, all needed transportation.

Participate in supervision, team, and other assigned meetings. Review and complete all required documentation. Communicate all pertinent information to all stakeholders.

Attend and participate in all internal and external trainings as assigned. Acquire and maintain all required certifications. Participate in On-call Beeper rotation.

Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Social Services with residential and administrative experience preferred. High School diploma and valid driver's along with a willingness to achieve Certified Psychiatric Rehabilitation Practitioner license required.
