To keep that momentum going strong, were expanding our team of enthusiastic go-getters. Were on the hunt for a Program Coordinator who is eager to lead our Group Coaching Program.

The Program Coordinator will manage and administer the Group Coaching Program for Black Spectacles while also iterating on the program using feedback from coaches and customers.

  • Continually recruit and hire program "coaches" (licensed architects) through networking and recruiting
  • Manage a team of 25 - 30 part-time, remote employees (licensed architects)
  • Provide feedback to program coaches based on customer feedback
  • Uphold and enforce program terms and conditions with customers and employees
  • Measure and communicate the health of the program throughout its life cycle
  • Develop an evaluation method to assess program strengths and identify areas for improvement.
  • Work across multiple departments (Marketing Team, Data Analysis Team, Dev Team, etc.) on projects related to maintaining and enhancing the program
  • Implement and manage program enhancements to ensure program goals are achieved while aligning with the program's mission.

Requirements

  • Ability to analyze data and make recommendations based on the data
  • Previous customer service experience
  • Ability to create and manage long-term goals
  • Is able to follow policies and procedures yet be adaptable to change when needed
  • Intermediate computer knowledge (preferably G-suite)

No Duties and Responsibilities * Coordinate daily operations for the program including managing departmental email, ordering supplies, maintaining computer lab, printer resources, payroll approvals, and documenting services. * Establish and maintain systems for on-going electronic and paper record-keeping, annually completing and submitting the participant data portion (Section 2) of the Annual Performance Report to the U.S. Department of Education, and documenting participant progress of the previous six cohorts of students. * Train professional staff and student employees regarding TRIO legislation, regulations, and OMB Circulars. * Collaborate with Information Technology Services, The Office of Research, and Records and Registration to maintain participant database security, tech updates, and fulfill recruitment needs. * Coordinate participant application review process during recruitment periods, ensure candidate eligibility for the program in accordance with grant guidelines, advertise application timelines to students and campus partners, notify students declined acceptance, and complete an orientation program with newly accepted students. * Lead student staff hiring, edit and update job descriptions each hiring period, post listings, coordinate and participate in interviews, and process new hire paperwork. * Supervise student employees responsible for data management assistance, program marketing, and specialized tutoring, and other focus areas deemed necessary for program development. * Organize, edit, and enrich the program's webpage content. * Train faculty and staff across the university regarding the national TRIO initiative, and the needs of low-income, first-generation, and students with disabilities. * Co-write and/or edit portions of the grant during the re-application process. * Co-coordinate process to establish department's mission, vision, and values leading to establishing departmental student learning outcomes and an improved action plan for complementing the Jesuit mission of Loyola University Chicago as well as the strategic plan. * Create lesson plans to build a curriculum of programming that will include inside of the classroom, outside of the classroom, and post-Loyola life enrichment content. * Co-lead departmental assessment to analyze effectiveness of services and programs in achieving student learning outcomes. * Co-plan a variety of program events including recognition banquets, the Summer Transition Program, seasonal gatherings, and program retreats. * Attend conferences and training seminars in order to identify best-practices, to stay abreast of current trends within higher education, and to network for advancement opportunities for staff and student development. * Other duties as assigned. Minimum Education and/or Work Experience Bachelor's degree in related field and at least two to three years of related experience required. Qualifications * Ability to work effectively with undergraduate students in a holistic manner with an enthusiasm for providing student-centered services in the Ignatian tradition. * Strong interpersonal, communication and organizational skills. * Ability to effectively collaborate and communicate with faculty, staff, students and parents. * Experience providing administrative support for programs at the post-secondary level. * A commitment to academic excellence, social justice and service, values-based leadership, global awareness and diversity. * Ability to embrace, promote and articulate the University's Jesuit Catholic identity. * An understanding of the national TRIO movement.
