Project Finance plans, controls, and reports program performance relating to cost and schedule.
The Space Systems (S2) Product Line, within the C4ISR Business Area, is seeking a highly motivated Program Control Junior Manager to join the Project Finance team. The S2 portfolio consists of 100 active contracts of multiple program types. The Financial Role guides and supports The Space Computer and Products Business Area, which is the largest business areas within in the S2 portfolio. Annual revenue is excess of $100M. Contracts supported range in size from (less than $2M to over $75M) and have varying levels of complexity and the portfolio contains both production and development contracts. This role will be in the Manassas, VA location.
Responsibilities include:
Training and mentorship of three Program Controls Analysts
Management of the financial execution of multiple programs
Will utilize EVMS tools to monitor program performance. Develops time phased expenditure plans. Identify implication of schedule variances and suggests appropriate work-around recovery plans.
Ensuring on time and accurate financial reporting for responsible programs
Provide financial guidance to the Business Area Lead and the Program Management Teams within the SC&P business area
Collaborate with Accounting, Pricing, Government Compliance, and Financial Planning
Financial Planning, in Hyperion for Quarterly and Integrated Business Plan (IBP) updates
Providing analytical data and recommendations for required improvement
Providing and interpreting data as required for contract accounting activities.
Maintain a professional and well trained staff
Perform resource management planning, ensuring maximum utilization of personnel and equipment
Assist with special projects
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
Bachelor's degree in Finance (or related Business discipline)
Recent Experience in the Defense Industry
Prior Program Controls experience working with various contract type
Cobra or comparable Earned Value Management System
Working knowledge of Earned Value Management
Capable of efficient and relevant decision-making
Analytical and problem solving skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Strong Mentoring Skills
Effective communications skills
Ability to work with diverse work teams
Ability to communicate and present financial data to various functions and varying levels of Management
Able to develop presentation material
Experience with Financial Planning and Forecasting
Oracle ERP
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
Proficient in Hyperion
Experience with Earned Value reporting to Government or Government Contractors
General Ledger Accounting Experience
Proposal/Pricing experience
Skilled in implementing effective processes and controls
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $96470 - $164010
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
