SAIC has an immediate opening for a Program Management Analyst supporting the Naval Undersea Warfare Center (NUWC) located in Newport, RI.

This position will be responsible for assisting NUWC Code 34 Imaging Department personnel with planning, tracking execution and analysis of projects of varying contract type, size, complexity, and level of risk. Responsibilities will include: implementation of financial policies and procedures in support of projects; establishment and maintenance of cost/schedule baselines; and preparation of written and verbal reports to management regarding cost schedule variances.

This position is also responsible for monitoring the Fleet Hot Line as well as the NMCI SIPR for incoming CASREPS/CASCOR messages as well as any messages requiring action by NUWC Newport, and assist in drafting and routing outgoing messages as well. This role will interface with Project Managers, Contracts, Senior Technical Personnel, as well as other US Navy, DoD and US Government organizations.

Other Relevant Responsibilities Include:

Attend weekly program status meetings

Monitor Daily Status reports of ongoing installations

Track/facilitate appropriate Tech Support for any issues encountered

Provide daily status updates to NUWCDIVNPT

Qualifications

Security Clearance:

  • The individual must hold a valid DOD Secret security clearance.

Relevant Experience:

  • Being able to read and decipher Naval Messages is also a plus.

  • Ability to follow Standard Operating Procedures, meet deadlines, and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

  • Intermediate skills proficiency with MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint is required.

  • Ability to communicate, both orally and in writing, to all levels of the customer organization.

Education:

  • Required: BS and 2+ years experience or HS and 7 years experience.

  • Four years' experience with NUWCDIVNPT is a plus.
