SAIC is seeking a Program Control Analyst to support our team in Huntsville, AL! The candidate will assist the Program Control team and Project Managers with the planning, tracking, analysis, and reporting on multiple projects of varying contract type, size, complexity, and levels of risk.

The candidate will have significant interface with Project Managers, Contract Management staff, Senior Technical Personnel, Accounting, Accounts Receivable as well as other functional organizations.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Reports detailed accurate information, analyzes financial data in support of project cost and schedule status and presents briefings to SAIC managers as required.

  • Ability to analyze and reconcile cash flow, profitability, invoicing, unbillables, costs on hold, subcontracts on a monthly basis and attend briefings with functional staff to validate current project status.

Required Education & Experience

Level 1:

Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration and at least 1 years of Project Control or related experience is required.

Level 2:

Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration and 3 years of Project Control or related experience is Required OR Master's Degree and one year of experience.

Level 3:

Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university in Program Management or Business Administration with emphasis in Finance, Accounting or a related discipline and six (6) years or more of related experience; Masters and four (4) years or more experience.

Required Skills

  • Requires the skills to create courses of action and proactively solve problems by conducting research, conceiving and developing new and innovative ideas, theories, and/or solutions, and predicting possible outcomes.

  • Possess ability to prepare and present "what- if" scenarios.

  • Analytical, communication and presentations skills needed as well as the ability to operate independently and as a strong member of a team.

  • Requires mastery of basic MS Office Software (Word, Excel, Power Point).

  • Prefer working knowledge of Cost Point and Hyperion.

Required Clearance

Must be able to obtain a Secret clearance.

VIEW JOBS 1/13/2022 12:00:00 AM 2022-04-13T00:00 This position will join CFD Research's Accounting team and work directly with staff working various technical efforts, specifically supporting planning, tracking and monitoring of financial (and performance) data as it relates to large task orders on IDIQ contracts. The role will support the Program Manager to ensure they have the most relevant real time data to help make sure the project is executing according to budget, specifically by working across business operations and the program team to ensure execution is seamless. In addition to financial tracking, the analyst in this role will be instrumental in helping manage direct hours, materials, ODCs, and other expenses that are incurred in support of this program - both for CFD Research as well as subcontractors. The candidate will provide support to the PM for deliverables as well, including coordinating, preparing, and submitting contract deliverables in a timely manner; some of these may include: Monthly Status Reports (MSRs), Technical Reports, Project Management Plans, and Transition Plans. The position will support contract work authorizations, forecasting (both labor and non-labor), and other resource planning activities as well. Requirements: * Candidate must be a US Citizen and meet eligibility to obtain (and maintain) a Secret Clearance * Position requires a Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting (or related discipline) and at least 3 years of experience in a program controls type opening (experience my substitute for degree) * Candidates should be comfortable deciphering contract terms conditions, with a preference for experience/understanding of different contract types (and its impact on program execution & company financial performance/P&L) * Knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), Joint Travel Regulations (JTR), federal budget/government process, and funds management * Computer skills should include demonstrated use of MS Excel and familiarity with enterprise accounting systems (preferably Unanet or Costpoint) * Ability to think analytically & focus on positive outcomes for all stakeholders, specifically as it relates to managing customer requirements, program execution, and organizational performance About the Company: CFD Research is the technology leader in engineering simulations and innovative designs.
