This position is responsible for supporting the Program Director in maintaining quality graduate medical education, ACGME or CODA accreditation and prioritizing/coordinating accreditation and operational processes with the PH GME office. Quality follow-through and timely completion of department projects is imperative to the overall success of the individual program as well as the entire GME program. In addition, this position serves as a
liaison between the PH GME office and the residency or fellowship program; indirectly reporting to Director of Resident & Student Services. (This position has a dual reporting relationship with the department and the Office
of Graduate Medical Education (GME).)

Assists Program Coordinator with all components of ACGME Accreditation, demonstrating an in-depth understanding of ACGME program, common and institutional requirements as they relate to program operation.
Supports planning of Annual Program Evaluation, per requirements.
Supports Program Coordinator in implementation of program evaluation recommendations.
Assists with all phases of recruitment, orientation, and graduation processes at the program level.
Maintains resident and alumni data in a confidential manner.
Assists with the coordination and documentation of noon conferences, Grand Rounds, teaching aids, or other didactics.
Assists with the coordination and distribution of rotation and call schedules, working with Chief Residents, GME office, Reimbursement department, and other institutions.
Continually updates GME knowledge and skills through specialty conferences, webinars, and monthly meetings with GME and other programs.
Assists with the coordination and updating of Letters of Agreement (i.e. external organization agreements, internal letters of agreement) in concert with the GME Office.
Assists with the development of evaluation modules and coordinates evaluation processes with Program Director & Program Coordinator oversight.
Supports the monitoring of resident duty hours compliance in concert with GME Office.
Maintains up-to-date time keeping on each resident's time away from program to meet Board requirements for certification.
Assists Program Coordinator with management of residency or fellowship budget(s).
Supports the day-to-day operations of the residency or fellowship program.
Coordinates and completes other projects as assigned.
Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
Experience: 3 years' experience in GME field's concepts, practices, and procedures; basic knowledge of ACGME common, institutional and specialty requirements required. A Bachelor's degree in a related field may be considered in lieu of experience requirements.
Licensure, Registry or Certification Required: TAGME certification ready.
Special Training: Software: Microsoft Office required; New Innovations, GME Track, ERAS, FRIEDA, GME TRACK, ACGME WebADS. The candidate must have excellent communication, multi-tasking, organization, and critical
