Gen Re currently offers an excellent opportunity for a Program and Administrative Services Lead to an appropriately qualified individual within the Global IT Services. This role may be performed remotely within the United States.

Role Description

The Program and Administrative Services Lead is a member of the Enterprise Data and AI Services (EDAS) team within Global IT Services and reports directly to the Head of Enterprise Data and AI Services.

In this capacity, the candidate will work with a team of empathetic, autonomy-supported, well-connected, competent, and passionate data analysts, data engineers, data architects, and data scientists (i.e., a data team) responsible for empowering the organization with modern data and AI tools, technologies, and workflows.

The ideal candidate will be highly empathetic, collaborative, organized, analytical, and be expected to partner effectively with other business and service units.

The Program and Administrator Services Lead is a combination of Program Management and Administration responsibilities:

Program Management

• Develop and implement project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource requirements

• Ensure timely and accurate reporting of program activities to management and stakeholders

• Develop and prepare project reports, presentations, and communications

• Maintain project governance, budgets, communications, risks/issues, etc. according to Gen Re's Portfolio Governance process

Administration

• Onboard and train consultants and new hires

• Onboard project resources

• Organize and host meetings, workshops, and events

• Prepare agendas, minutes, and follow-up actions

• Records and budget management

Role Qualifications and Experience

• 5+ years of experience in IT program management

• Experience with executing multiple IT Data/AI/cloud projects in parallel

• Experience with Azure DevOps and agile methodologies

• Knowledge of Azure and AI key concepts

• Experience working within a fully managed services organization whereby support is provided via third party providers and vendors in a global environment

• Experience working with business stakeholders

• Experienced with project planning, budgeting, risk/issue management and execution

• Experience with quality assurance including test case management/execution

• IT Plans and Budgets

• Project management, frameworks, and methodologies

• Release Management

• Quality Assurance

• Project Management Professional (PMP) - Preferred

• Knowledge of Cloud Computing, analytics, and AI services

Salary Range

117,000.00 - 195,000.00 USD

The annual base salary range posted represents a broad range of salaries around the U.S. and is subject to many factors including but not limited to credentials, education, experience, geographic location, job responsibilities, performance, skills and/or training.
