S3, Inc. is seeking a Senior Program Analyst to join our dynamic team at the SHIELD Project Office under PEO Missiles and Space. The duty location is Redstone Arsenal, AL.

Military experience is a plus. Hybrid work schedule.

Description:

The Senior Program Analyst will join the SHIELD Project Office within the Program Executive Office Missiles & Space (PEO M&S). This role involves crucial responsibilities such as developing acquisition strategies, preparing work statements, creating evaluation plans, and aiding in vendor qualification. The candidate will assist in the budget preparation process, support Senior Acquisition Executive (SAE) oversight, and influence decision-making activities. The role also includes extensive program execution oversight, maintaining and enhancing planning, scheduling, and management activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in developing and refining acquisition strategies and work statements.

  • Participate in the preparation and defense of budgets, ensuring alignment with program goals and compliance with governmental guidelines.

  • Analyze and recommend enhancements to program documentation, phase transition plans, and overall program execution strategies.

  • Conduct in-depth research and analysis on program trends, identify potential issues, and devise effective solutions.

  • Manage updates to program documents, advise on funding allocations, establish program goals, objectives, and schedules.

  • Track program compliance, identify deviations in program direction, assess impacts, and recommend corrective actions.

  • Utilize quantitative analytical techniques to evaluate system acquisition processes, identify risks, and develop mitigation strategies.

  • Engage in the development of acquisition plans, source selection documents, Independent Government Cost Estimates, and other essential procurement documentation.

  • Collaborate effectively with project office personnel to ensure coordination and efficient program management.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 8 years of experience of relevant program analyst experience.

  • Secret or higher DoD security clearance or have the ability to obtain a clearance.

  • Experience with coordinating approvals within a project office and with external stakeholders, including government agencies.
