Description

SAIC is seeking a Program Analyst to provide on-site project management support to the USW Weapons, Vehicles & Defensive Systems Department (C85) at the Naval Undersea Warfare Center, Newport, RI. The individual will be required to attend meetings, develop meeting minutes and track action items; develop project management support documents including program plans, office communications and memoranda, organize documents and manage project archives and develop various reports and presentations as needed. Individual will require a government clearance and strong computer skills. Other duties may include developing financial reports, preparing assorted presentations, and assisting with the management and tracking of other project data, as required.

Qualifications

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in business (or related field) or equivalent experience.

  • Minimum of 1-3 years related experience in the field or in a related area.

  • MS Office proficiency

  • Ability to balance multiple tasks across multiple projects

  • Ability to acquire government clearance

  • Quick learner and proactive

Preferred Skills:

  • DoD Financial Experience

  • Navy ERP Experience

  • Project Management Experience

  • Understanding of financial/technical documentation

Responsibilities: * Plan and implement security measures to protect computer systems, networks and physical areas. * Administer, troubleshoot, and analyze Windows and Linux environments. * Stay up-to-date on the latest intelligence, including hackers' methodologies, in order to anticipate information system breaches. Prevent data loss and service interruptions by researching new technologies that will effectively protect the network. * Assess and participate in compliance, internal and external audit requirements; gathers information for audits and provides to internal and external auditors. Exhibits an understanding of the compliance regulations and security best practices and develops the appropriate security measures accordingly. * Well organized; the candidate should have the ability to independently manage their work on several projects and programs at once. * The candidate should have effective communication skills, as they will directly interface with the customer during day. JOB DESCRIPTION: Designs, tests, and implements secure operating systems, networks, security monitoring, tuning and management of IT security systems and applications, incident response, digital forensics, loss prevention, and eDiscovery actions. Conducts risk and vulnerability assessment at the network, system and application level. Conducts threat modeling exercises. Develops and implements security controls and formulates operational risk mitigations along with assisting in security awareness programs. Involved in a wide range of security issues including architectures, firewalls, electronic data traffic, and network access. Researches, evaluates and recommends new security tools, techniques, and technologies and introduces them to the enterprise in alignment with IT security strategy. Utilizes COTS/GOTS and custom tools and processes/procedures in order to scan, identify, contain, mitigate and remediate vulnerabilities, and intrusions. Assists in the implementation of the required government policy (i.e., NISPOM, DCID 6/3), and makes recommendations on process tailoring. Performs analyses to validate established security requirements and to recommend additional security requirements and safeguards. Supports the formal Security Test and Evaluation (ST&E) required by each government accrediting authority through pre-test preparations, participation in the tests, analysis of the results, and preparation of required reports. Periodically conducts a review of each system's audits and monitors corrective actions until all actions are closed. May support cyber metrics development, maintenance and reporting. LIASON: Primarily internal company contacts. Infrequent inter-organizational andoutside customer contacts on routine matters. Qualifications Qualifications: BS in Cybersecurity, Information Security Systems, Computer Science, Computer Forensics, Network Engineering, Engineering, Operations Research, Physics, Mathematics, or related technical field in Engineering or related technical field.
