Program Overview:

ManTech is responsible for assisting our Government customers to ensure that material solutions developed or acquired by Marine Corps Systems Command (MCSC) are system engineered, integrated, interoperable, and certified to provide the warfighter with equipment required to accomplish their mission. To do that, ManTech assists our customer to conduct the detailed systems engineering analysis, establishes technical policies and guidance across the Command, and manage the technical investigation and distributed planning required to deliver world class Marine Air Ground Task Force (MAGTF) systems capabilities to the warfighter.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with OPF-L SMEs to review, assess, and develop recommendations for DoD related to the system equipment acquired throughout the enterprise.

  • Work with MCSC teams to generate and track comments, issues, and concerns.

  • Serves as technical editor for OPF-L acquisition documentation.

  • Works with Government Leads to coordinate OPF-L participation in relevant decision forums.

  • Coordinates and tracks Department of Navy taskers.

  • Assists Government customers in the generation of Acquisition Documentation.

  • Assists in writing data governance plans and policy letters.

Mandatory Requirements:

  • Bachelors Degree and at least 4 years of experience preparing and/or maintaining technical systems or program documentation. Additional years of experience can be substituted in lieu of degree.

  • Organizational skills to coordinate and collect input to hundreds of standards on a quarterly basis within a diverse customer organization.

  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, while keeping senior leadership informed regarding status and issues related to IT Standards.

  • Should also have at least three (3) years' experience in support of DoD pogroms having the Integrated Defense AT&L Life cycle Management Framework, and experience with ensuring adherence to master plans and schedules, and developing solutions to program problems are required.

Other Preferred Skills:

  • Experience coordinating responses to defense agency data calls preferred

  • Understanding of DoD 500.85 Major Capability Acquisition, preferred

  • Management of Integrated Master Schedules/Integrated Government Schedules, preferred

  • Understanding of the Risk Management Process, preferred

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%
