JOB DESCRIPTION: Leidos has an opening for a Program Analyst. The position requires proficiency in task tracking, work organization, project management; communication skills necessary to gather, analyze, graphically represent, and present various schedules and work flows for multiple service areas. Provide support for the Program Executive Office Assembled Chemical Weapons Alternatives (PEO ACWA) Headquarters command group and interact with a broad variety of stakeholder, contractor and government. Create and/or maintain scheduling and tracking systems as a repository for all Command group taskers including briefings, communication, correspondence and work product information associated with the mission. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: (list daily duties and/or specific job responsibilities) After a month of introduction to work activities the successful candidate will support all aspects of PEO ACWA command group activities. This includes, but may not be limited to database management, tracking, maintaining quality review on PEO ACWA program management and task processes, workflows and preparing, revising and correcting key high level congressional briefings for the command group. The successful candidate will assist in the monitoring and tracking of PEO ACWA program tasking including developing detailed schedules and methods for assuring responsiveness for preparation, development, delivery and analysis of work activities to support the PEO, Deputy PEO, Chief of Staff, and Program, Planning and Analysis Director. The candidate will support the command group in developing strategy and content for Microsoft (MS) Power Point briefings and interact with government systems. The candidate will schedule and participate in teleconferences and meetings including taking technical meeting minutes and developing action items, , manage all taskersreceive external taskers, assign, and track through completion, prepare and consolidate the weekly highlight report, receive all incoming correspondence; review and coordinate required changes with action officers/admin support, manage the planning calendar, manage the PEO ACWA mailbox; distribute workforce messages, set up and facilitate the weekly staff meetings be the primary liaison between HQ and sites for high-level site visits, work closely with Command Group admin support to schedule meetings, coordinate briefings, prepare travel, etc. This position will support the PEO ACWA Command Group in Edgewood, Maryland at Aberdeen Proving Ground

  • South. Travel up to 10%.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:- Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and experience

  • Strong interpersonal and team skills and an ability to interact effectively with team members, senior managers, and clients. Flexible in reactions to changing conditions, but able to maintain attention to detail.

  • Significant Experience in developing work products in Microsoft Office programs including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint and Project

  • Demonstrated experience working with a team to meet customer requirements.

  • Excellent data gathering and writing skills.

  • Ability to multi-task with multiple product development and maintenance activities activity going on at once

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in Project / Program support

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience with managing and tracking tasks
  • Advanced skills including: o Cost tracking and analysis o Technical writing skills o Editing and Formatting of documents and briefings o Experience with developing and maintaining resource loaded schedules

This will include planning and managing the schedule, budget and cross-functional deliverables. The EPM works directly with Product Management, Engineering, Services, Manufacturing, Sales and Contract organizations to understand internal and external customer requirements, develop project plans and drive the project on schedule and budget. The EPM must have the ability to prioritize tasks, communicate project status up and down and influence the team in a matrix driven organization. Duties and Responsibilites * Collaborate with Product Management, Engineering, Services, Manufacturing, Sales and Contracts to understand internal and external project requirements * Engage with the Cross Functional leads to understand product capabilities and potential risks or challenges of requests * Thoroughly understand and implement the PLP Stage Gate Development framework. * Work with the team to identify and manage project risks * Establish mitigation plans, identify trigger events, and initiate corrective action plans * Prioritize team efforts and identify project timeline to meet customer needs * Lead and influence cross-functional teams to accomplish project goals * Lead project reviews, technical interchange meetings and design reviews * Ensure project are run compliantly and that all project and contract deliverables are met * Ensure a smooth transition of project from engineering to production and to the field * Communicate status and priorities to the team, communicate plans to upper management * Provide regular status updates to internal and external customers * Explain complex technical concepts to a broad audience * Thoroughly understand the SD process for New Product Introduction and all regulatory requirements * Act as the central point of contact for project Required Skills and Experience Requirements: * BS degree (or equivalent) in Engineering, Business, or related technical discipline * Excellent written and oral communication skills * Must be strong technically in addition to possessing leadership capabilities * Experience in new high-technology product development, particularly hardware or software for large electro-mechanical systems is preferred ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS: * This position requires access to ITAR, EAR, and Department of State or Department of Commerce controlled information and routine access to a cleared facility.
