Job Description:

Provides analytical, administrative and programmatic support to a funded DoD program. Establishes cost control system, monitors, and controls costs and schedules on contracts requiring validated cost schedule control system. Coordinates and develops program deliverables and analyze programs cost, schedule and performance data. Develops plans, goals, and objectives for implementation and program administration.

Prepares various spreadsheets/reports/briefs used as tracking tools for program management. Supports technical and finance teams in responding to various data calls, monitor and report performance and progress against plans, baselines, and requirements. Assists in the identification and resolution of issues impacting program/project cost, schedule, and performance.

Identifies financial or operating risks associated with the execution of the contract, forecasts and tracks financial results to meet budget projections, provides project summary status reports. Applies knowledge of administrative, acquisition, and logistics laws, policies, regulations, and precedents applicable to one or more important programs.

Required

  • BS or BA in related field

  • Minimum 4 years experience with logistics and finance administration including cost, pricing, or accounting and estimating

  • Experience with DoD acquisition programs and processes

  • Proficiency with MS Office Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

  • Some travel

  • Ability to obtain and maintain security clearance

Desired

  • Direct experience and/or training on Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation (DFAR), and International Traffic in Arms Regulation (ITAR)
  • Expertise in office process automation tools such as MS Power Automate (or similar)
  • Earned Value Professional (EVP) Certification

VIEW JOBS 5/28/2022 12:00:00 AM 2022-08-26T00:00 Job Description The selected candidate will be responsible for filling the role of Program Financial Analyst supporting Enterprise IT Solutions (EITS) projects in Fort Walton Beach, FL. * Monitors and reports costs and schedules for contracts within EITS; participate in the planning, tracking, forecasting, analysis, and reporting of projects of varying contract type, size, complexity, and level of risk. * The candidate must have good communication skills as the position will have significant interaction with Finance Manager, Project Managers, Program Directors, and many other functional organizations. * Must also be capable of assembling financial data for inclusion in contract closeout/review, forecasting, and variance explanations. * Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to: * Program Start-Up, Program Maintenance, Program Close-Out, Performance Analysis, Time and Labor Recording, Reporting, and Analysis, Subcontractor Maintenance, Monthly Financial Close, Customer Reporting, Problem Resolution and Pricing * Assisting product teams in identifying potential issues and/or cost efficiencies and developing plans to resolve issues or implement efficiency improvements. * A broad knowledge of accounting, billing, and finance would greatly benefit the performance of these duties, along with an understanding of Earned Value Management.
