ICI Services is looking for a motivated individual who wants to join our team as a Program Analyst (Deputy Chief of Staff) supporting a major Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) shipbuilding PEO (Program Executive Office) at the historic Washington Navy Yard in Washington, DC. We are a mid-sized defense contractor providing Engineering, Logistics, Program and Technical Services to U.S. Navy clients around the country.

Security Clearance:

  • Applicant must hold an active Department of Defense (DoD) SECRET personnel security clearance

Responsibilities:

  • You will be seated in the PEO Front Office, working alongside government and other contractor personnel, and report directly to the PEO Chief of Staff

  • Manage the Front Office Task Management tracker

  • Track PEO correspondence

  • Review and edit PEO briefs, reports, correspondence and other material to conform to high quality standards

  • Provide Congressional Affairs support

  • Process Military Personnel On-boarding

  • Coordinate graphics and printing requests

  • Coordinate travel and conference requests

  • Track travel requests for record and budget tracking

  • Track Action Items through the front office

  • Update monthly and weekly reports

  • Participate in PEO staff meetings

  • Take on Chief of Staff special projects as required

Experience Requirements

  • Minimum of 4 years of relevant work experience, preferably in support of the Department of Defense. Prior experience with NAVSEA is a plus

  • Prior experience interacting with and supporting senior military and civilian officials is required

  • Demonstrated proficiency with MS Office Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

  • Candidate must show initiative and forethought; must have worked in and thrive in a dynamic teaming environment; must have the ability to multitask; and must have exceptional time management and organizational skills

Educational Requirements:

  • High School Diploma required. Associate or Bachelor degree is desired

Duties: * Ensure that the Quality Control Plan, submitted to and approved by the Government, is implemented and fully operational, as written. * Ensure continuous, timely delivery of services and compliance with contract requirements. * Ensure that each contractor has completed assigned work prior to the end of the shift. The deputy program manager shall be responsible for a smooth transition to the next shift, if applicable. * Maintain records of work production and other administrative records as required. These records shall be kept at the DOS location. * Prepare and present to the COR or ACOR/GTM a monthly schedule detailing adequate personnel coverage for each forthcoming month.
