The Department of Human Services is searching for a Program Analyst 2. This position manages all grant agreements and contracts that provide mental health services to the citizens of Pennsylvania. As a Program Analyst 2 with the Office of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services, you manage and oversee all procurement activities.
Duties include performing highly complex analytical and evaluative work of agency programs and projects to provide management with recommendations for making decisions and improving the efficiency and effectiveness of agency operations. You facilitate the progression of and ensure proper and timely revisions, execution, approval, and issuance of various agreements. Also, you analyze all procurement agreements to ensure services meet the goals and objectives of the program office and determine the effectiveness of the results. In addition, you research, analyze, and interpret internal repots, existing procedures, and program related data.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
Full-time employment, 37.5-hour work week
Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with 30-minute lunch.
May change based on operational needs.
Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time. The telework schedule is based on the supervisor and selected candidate. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg.

QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
One year as a Program Analyst 1; or
Two years of analytical experience, one of which includes professional experience in program evaluation and the development of program recommendations, and a bachelor's degree; or
An equivalent combination of experience and training.
Other Requirements:
