Description The Enterprise Asset Management Division, Maintenance Program has a current vacancy for an Energy Analyst (Resource Conservation Analyst). This position is permanent, full time and is represented by the Service Employees International Union (SEIU). Welcome to your new team!
Come join our dynamic team in Enterprise Asset Management for the Department of Administrative Services.
As a Resource Conservation Analyst, you will help DAS lead by example in saving energy and water, reducing waste, engaging staff and tenants and making a difference.
You will also have opportunities to shape statewide resource conservation policy, network with peers in other agencies and contribute to Oregon's state government's sustainability efforts.
Duties & Responsibilities This position provides support and guidance to the agency in the areas of energy management, resource conservation and sustainability.
Primary Duties: Manage energy, resource conservation and sustainability analytics Provide subject area guidance, assistance and training to agency staff Monitor, research and report on technologies, trends, metrics and implementation efforts Support tenant, stakeholder and agency engagement Project and Contract Management For a full review of the duties, desired attributes and working conditions, please review the POSITION DESCRIPTION (Download PDF reader) . Qualifications, Required & Requested Skills To be considered for this position, you must meet the following minimum qualifications: A Bachelor's Degree in Business or Public Administration, Behavioral or Social Sciences, or a degree related to Energy Resource Conservation.
OR A combination of experience or education equivalent to three years technical-level experience that supports the knowledge and skill requirements listed for Energy Resource Conservation.
Desired Attributes Knowledge, skill and ability in sustainability practices.
Experience creating spread sheets and graphs that show the progress of the program.
Experience communicating technical data with mechanical and electrical engineers and trades people.
Experience preparing for and giving presentations to varied audiences.
Familiar with terminology related to HVAC, electrical and lighting systems.
Experience creating spread sheets and graphs that show the progress of the program.
Highly proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite or similar software (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook). Data analysis skills, including ability to interpret major findings, trends, and issues, particularly related to resource conservation.
Ability to translate data analysis into concise narratives for written and oral communication.
Familiarity with resource conservation software/applications such as Portfolio Manager.
Ability to effectively manage time and multiple tasks to meet deadlines.
Ability to constructively communicate and problem solve as part of a project team.
Ability to motivate and inspire change.
Preference Statement: Preference may be given to applicants with CEA (Certified Energy Analyst), CEA (Certified Energy Auditor) or CEM (Certified Energy Manager), LEED-Accredited Professional, or similar certification.

Escalate unresolved incidents and service requests to the proper level 2 and 3 support teams. Troubleshoots basic end-user issues on various platforms, to include software, hardware, network and telecommunications systems, as well as provides basic desktop support. Specific activities may change from time to time. * Troubleshoot and resolve tickets within SLAs related to operations and end-user requests * Comply with standard processes and procedures documentation * Strong customer service focus to successfully interact with end-users and peer teams * Interact closely with customers to understand their needs and / or requirements * Ability to coordinate with geographically dispersed teams to achieve results * Consistently seeks to develop self and skills needed to be prepared for future opportunities * Contact support teams as necessary to assist with incident resolution regarding system outages * Follow up on unresolved ticket status on behalf of the customer * Resolve password / account access related calls * Receive, log and manage several calls each day from internal and external customers via telephone and or web based ticketing system * Troubleshoot IT related incidents, related but not limited to, software, network, laptops/desktops and printers * Escalate unresolved calls to various support teams * Ability to support 24x7x365 on-call rotation as needed Minimum Skills and Competencies: The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.
