What we want
The Student Life Program Aide will support the training, facilitation, and assessment of the New Student Conference presentations for Summer 2024. They will contribute as a member of the Substance Misuse and Violence Prevention team by presenting at New Student Conference sessions on behalf of the team, as well as provide training and content knowledge feedback to student presenters.
What you need to know
Salary: $14/Hourly
Special Note: Should have strong public speaking skills and comfortability on a large stage speaking in front of 700+ students per session.
Required Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree
One year of experience in higher education work or related specialty with a bachelor's degree
No experience required with a master's degree
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Ability to effectively task manage and work cooperatively with others
Strong interpersonal/organizational skills, willingness to work as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications:
Ability to related well to undergraduate students
Knowledge of health promotion and public health theory, models, and frameworks that guide the work
Strong public speaking skills
