Alvarium Person Care, an affiliate of Apis Services, is seeking a full time Program Administrator for it's Brereton Manor program located in Lancaster, PA. Brereton Manor is a small personal care facility committed to providing quality, loving care for seniors. We are located in Washington Boro, near Lancaster, PA right in the middle of Pennsylvanias magnificent farming country.


  • Bachelors Degree and four (4) years of experience working in Administration or Human Services field

Two (2) to Five (5) years in Human Services or Administration

  • Knowledge in and experience with Title 55, Department of Human Services Chapter 2600 Personal Care Home Regulations

  • Business operations to include finance, information systems, social services programs and contract requirements

  • Record keeping for that of a Single Member Limited Liability Corporation

  • Knowledge of Personal Care programmatic implementation including services rendered to Residents, reports and billing requirements and regulations

Certification in CPR, obstructed airway techniques and First Aid

  • Strong customer service orientation with proven accomplishments

  • Excellent communication skills

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Monitor Personal Care Home site to ensure the health and safety needs of Residents and to ensure compliance to regulations, including awake night inspections and record reviews

  • Coordinate all Resident activities and services per Department of Human Services regulations and to include coordination with outside entities

  • Coordinate admissions of new Residents into Alvarium Personal Care, LLC programs; track trends and monitor progress of new admissions

  • Ensure the provision of high quality services needed and/or desired by Residents

  • Attain and/or maintain ongoing compliance with appropriate local, state, federal, regulatory, and/or accrediting body standards

  • Remain current and educated on Department of Human Services, Personal Care Home regulations, bulletins, and departmental procedures

  • Ensure that the program is prepared for inspection by regulatory agencies through regular auditing and updating of program policies and procedures, medical records documentation, environmental standards, etc.

  • Maintain a current and accurate database of resident notes, records and files

  • Attain and/or maintain the targeted occupancy level

  • Strive to attain excellence in Resident satisfaction through ongoing solicitation and measurement of Resident feedback, implementation of Resident suggestions, interactive problem solving with Residents, and an annual program evaluation/quality assurance effort

  • Monitor and maintain cost control

  • Provide ongoing support, direction, supervision, and feedback regarding job performance of all program staff

  • Actively promote staff participation and involvement in day-to-day operations and decision making

  • Promote team building through leadership at regular staff meetings

  • Responsible for ensuring that a safe and sanitary environment is provided for employees and Residents. Makes efforts to reduce safety hazards, accidents, and injuries

  • Assure implementation and maintenance of Resident-centered activity program

  • Work to improve community relations, increasing positive public regard and overall awareness of the facility

  • Monitor daily operations

  • Interview and match qualified candidates to employment positions which will best utilize experience and skill sets

  • Ensure licensing of programs as governed by the Department of Human Services and Alvarium Personal Care, LLC as directed

  • Ensure incident management, abuse and neglect prevention and reporting requirements per regulations

  • Ensure regulation and approval of Program Funds to Residents of service as regulated by the budget

  • Participate in On Call duties

  • Ensure incident management monitoring and reporting requirements per regulations
