Program Acquisition Specialist

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Program Acquisition Specialist to join a dynamic team in El Segundo, CA supporting US Space Force (USSF). The Program Acquisition Specialist will have an in depth understanding of DoD acquisition processes. This position begins remotely for 3 months, and then will transition to on-site. The selected individual is required to have an active TS/SCI clearance.

Responsibilities of the Program Acquisition Specialist:

• Provide insightful advice to the Program Manager and Senior Leadership regarding strategy, contracting, budgeting, and execution.

• Develop and coordinate planning and briefing documents, execution documents, and program planning documents.

• Provide technical and program assessments of design-work, milestone reviews, risk assessments, and the ability to achieve mission requirements.

Requirements of the Program Acquisition Specialist:

• Bachelors degree and minimum of 18 years of related experience with the:

• Department of Defense Major Capability Acquisition System process

• Joint Capabilities Integration and Development System process

• Planning, Programing, Budget and Execution process

• In-scope security background investigation (T5 or SSBI), adjudicated for SCI eligibility and enrolled in the Continuous Evaluation program (if applicable)

• Willing to be nominated for access to Sensitive Compartment Information and Special Access Programs and willing to consent to a Polygraph examination

• Professional certification (e.g., PMI PMP)

Compensation of the Program Acquisition Specialist:

• Salary: $200,000 - 225,000 based on experience level
