Job Summary:
This position is responsible for monitoring and processing Retirement, Survivor, Disability Insurance (RSDI) and Supplemental Security Insurance (SSI) Benefit application/claims for qualifying children/youth in DCS care. This position researches, completes forms, manages spreadsheets and works with several programs, databases, and software.
This position may offer the ability to work remotely, within Arizona, based upon the department's business needs and continual meeting of expected performance measures.

Job Duties:
This position is responsible for communication with Social Security Administration Title II liaison, Disability Determinations Services (DDS), placements, case managers, and any other person relevant to completing an initial claim.
Processes RSDI and SSI benefit applications/claims for children/young adults in Department of Child Safety custody. Completes change of payee applications.
Researching Comprehensive Medical and Dental Program (CMDP) Reports, and alternative resources. Reviews/completes Continuing Disability Reports. Monitors children in the database and Excel spreadsheets.

Pre-Employment Requirements:
Must have a high school diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (G.E.D).
The ability to secure and maintain an Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card
The ability to secure and maintain clearance from the DCS Central Registry.
