Job Summary
The University of Kentucky College of Medicine is seek an Academic Basic Scientist in the Regular Title Series. Faculty in Regular Title Series appointments will contribute to the teaching, advising, research, and service missions of the Department, College and University.
The selected candidate is expected to provide focused contributions in the areas of substance use disorders and health equity, as well as promote accessibility initiatives. The faculty member will also be expected to contribute to teaching by participating in the teaching of departmental courses, IBS courses and professional courses and take an active role in mentoring graduate students and postdoctoral scholars; research by continuing development of an independent and nationally recognized research program; and service by participating in departmental, college and university committees, all of which should be approved by your Chair. Qualifications also include having met the criteria for appointment at the rank of Professor based on the criterion described in Administrative Regulations (AR‐II‐1.0‐1, Page III and IV).
