Professional Services Staff Consultant

What we are looking for:

A Highly motivated self-starter with strong initiative to work as A Professional Services Staff Consultant supporting the suite of product and service offerings within Security Solutions Business Unit. The Professional Services Engineer will collaborate with sales, customer support, operations and customers in a post-sales technical project and account management role to assist with the implementation of Neustar services.

About the Role:

Professional Services Staff Consultant acts as the customer's technical referent providing technical guidance, solutions deployment, and project management. Additionally, Professional Services Consultants provide ongoing technical account management to existing clients by serving as the technical liaison between the client and Neustar Business Units tracking issues, hosting and participating in scheduled client meetings and supporting reporting requirements. At times, client engagements may require working non-standard business hours to accommodate and minimize the disruption of the client's business operations.


Professional Services Staff Consultant's

Responsibilities:
  • Working with the client to deploy Neustar Products and Solutions on time

  • Providing technical support to customers before and after sales

  • Evaluating customer needs to suggest solutions, upgrades or additional features.

  • Ability to comprehend client requirements and assist customers in determining the best way to integrate services.

  • Develop Project Plans and Delivery Schedules.

  • Facilitate Client Meetings and Prepare documentation as appropriate.

  • Training customers to use Neustar products and solutions.

  • Answering product-related queries in a timely manner.

  • Building, strengthening and maintaining customer relationships and ensuring client success and satisfaction.

  • Providing reports to stakeholders on product performance.

  • Tracking account metrics.

  • Collaborating with Business Unit Functional Teams

Professional Services Consultant Technical

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree with Computer Science or Information Technology degree preferred. Equivalent experience considered.

  • 2 - 5 years' experience in a similar role

  • Strong Written and Oral Communicator

  • Exceptional Interpersonal Skill

  • Strong Critical Thinking and problem-solving skills.

  • Demonstrated Project Management skills required with experience simultaneously managing multiple projects of varying scope in a consultative environment.

  • Demonstrated working knowledge and Understanding of Enterprise level Networking and Network Operations with specific knowledge of Border Gateway Protocol (BGP), IP Anycast, GRE Tunnels, VLAN's, and Router and Firewall configuration

  • Demonstrated working understanding of Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) Mitigation

  • Demonstrated working understanding of public and private DNS including BIND, DHCP, IPAM, GSLB, and Active Directory.

  • Basic familiarity with the UNIX operating system.

  • General understanding of HTTP/HTTPS and other Internet protocols including their performance characteristics.

  • Basic understanding of database architectures.

Travel will be required for these roles.
