Responsible for assignment of all professional resources to each engagement based upon client needs and the skills, capabilities, experience, development needs, and coaching opportunities for each resource, as identified in partnership with Professional Services leadership. Partner with project managers to assure Professional Services resources are maintained at acceptable billable and productive utilization levels with maximum quality and efficiency.

Continuously seek opportunities to improve quality and efficiency in project delivery and resource management through interaction with cross-departmental partners.


  • Facilitate project initiation activities for new order releases: send order confirmation to customer to identify possible schedule impacts; assign project manager and identify suggested project team members based on project scope and complexity, with input from PS Leadership, if necessary; and schedule and facilitate Sales to PS transition meetings for initial project kickoff.

  • Develop and maintain the master resource schedule by monitoring project progress with project managers and partnering with cross-departmental resource managers to coordinate activities and resolve scheduling issues.

  • Understand capacity of each individual and how to maximize the individual's bandwidth. Provide input to individuals and leadership regarding techniques to create more bandwidth through efficiencies.

  • Track, analyze and communicate billability and utilization rates to ensure that the business meets corporate goals. Prepare management recommendations and reports on usage, availability, and productivity.

  • Seek opportunities and engage in efforts to improve quality and efficiency in resource management and related delivery efforts.

  • Recommend work standards and improvements by studying operational requirements and methods, communicating suggestions to associates and leadership.

  • Research opportunities to improve business analytics and processes related to resource management, allocation and utilization.

  • Collaborate with Professional Services team to identify and implement improvement opportunities to increase efficiencies in existing processes.

  • Regularly evaluate and compare planned/scheduled hours against actual resource time required. Work with project managers and Professional Services leadership to ensure effective assignment and alignment practices for proper capacity planning and baseline updates.

  • Maintain awareness of implementation pipeline to plan resource assignments and assure all engagements can be met with high efficiency.

  • Perform timely Epicor approvals ensuring accurate resource time submission, matched with scheduled efforts and utilization goals.

  • Review active project completion estimates and new project pipeline on an ongoing basis to ensure that there is an appropriate set of assignment opportunities for each individual.

  • Evaluate the pipeline to look for opportunities for each individual to match their goals, strengths and development needs to project requirements.


  • Bachelors degree or equivalent in Business, Human Resources, Information Technology, Computer Science

  • 5-10 years relevant work experience

  • Experience with resource-scheduling software is desired

  • Application/Systems Knowledge (functional & technical) preferred

  • Fundamental skills and ability to build effective and productive relationships with both clients and internal resources.

Essential Functions: Integrity Ensures that daily patient care and client services as well as related office activities are conducted in accordance with applicable law and regulation. Ensures patient care and paraprofessional services are provided in accordance with acceptable standards of care and Interim HealthCare performance standards. Ensures that Interim HealthCare policies and procedures are implemented and consistently followed. May have access to personal health information ("PHI") necessary to fulfill the above duties and responsibilities. Access to use and ability to disclose PHI is further defined by each organization/department. Compassion Ensures the respectful treatment of patients and clients and family members. Provides leadership to the staff in the compassionate care of the patient/ family unit. Develops and motivates the clinical and paraprofessional team. Customer Focus In partnership with the General Manager or franchise owner, ensures recruitment and retention of qualified caregivers as well as the ongoing assessment of their performance, and ensures that these individuals are appropriately oriented, trained, supervised and evaluated, as well as competent to meet the needs of the population being served. Ensures access to appropriately qualified support twenty-four (24) hours a day, seven (7) days a week. Ensures that appropriate action is taken to resolve identified caregiver or patient/ client concerns or complaints. Manages caregivers to achieve an acceptable level of patient/ client satisfaction. Identifies opportunities to improve the quality of patient care or client services, formulating and implementing an action plan and evaluating results. Innovation Develops processes and executes training to successfully implement changes in patient care or client service practices. Identifies issues and creates solutions in response to changing demands for caregivers, clinical skills, and availability of qualified staff. Implements pilot programs to support new business initiatives. Understanding current trends and advancements in the delivery of care in the home. Financial Responsibility Manages the efficient use of the in-office and field resources related to patient care and client services. Completes other assignments as requested and assigned. Job Requirements Minimum Education & Experience Requirements: Registered Nurse licensed in the state(s) in which he/she practices, BSN preferred. Five (5) years of home care experience as a Registered Nurse within the last seven (7) years. Three (3) years of home care experience managing caregivers within the last five (5) years. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required: Meets applicable health requirements to provide patient care. If a state standard exists that is higher than these education/experience requirements, the state standard supersedes these qualifications. Demonstrated multi-tasking ability and effective organizational skills in order to meet short deadlines with finite resources. Demonstrated ability to develop, retain and manage an effective caregiver team. Able to engage in local and occasional out-of- town travel. Computer proficiency including the ability to utilize software programs for creating documents and data analyses. Meets applicable state and federal health screening requirements. Pass federal and state required criminal and abuse background checks where required. Verification of employment eligibility (I-9) in accordance with local, state, and federal law and regulations. Working Conditions & Physical Effort: Work is normally performed in a typical interior/office work environment and may require occasional work to be performed in patient homes. Ability to travel as needed. Ability to work flexible schedule including overtime and evening hours as needed. Able to frequently lift and carry up to 50 pounds in order to carry out daily job functions and related activities that may be required.
