As a Professional Services Engineer, you will serve as an expert in the products that Chronicle develops. Using the Chronicle platform you will identify and resolve security incidents. You are passionate about customer training, customer satisfaction and problem solving.

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, similar technical field of study or equivalent practical experience.

  • 10 years of experience in a technical role with exposure to security products (e.g., EDR, DNS, IDP/IDS, etc.).

  • Experience in writing software in one or more languages (e.g., Java, Python, Go, JavaScript, C++, etc.).

Preferred qualifications:

  • MS degree, further education or experience in engineering, computer science or other related technical field.

  • Experience with Big Data technologies, Clustering, and distributed programming, as well as working experience in logstash.

  • Experience leading security investigations, and experienced with Wireshark, VirusTotal, and other associated tooling.

  • Understanding of Windows, and Unix/Linux systems, along with a knowledge of CLIs. Understanding of network protocols, and network monitoring tools.

  • Ability to perform security analysis as well as development and implementation of security policies.

  • Onboard customers onto Chronicle platform and resolve questions and concerns regarding Chronicle's products and services.

  • Work with customers to understand their security posture and develop use cases to realize their security strategy.

  • Work cross-functionally with both Chronicle and Google Cloud's Field, Security, Product, Support, and Engineering teams.

  • Develop training materials and short videos, and conduct webinars.

  • Provide backend support for pre-sales engineers on customer trials and develop parsers for logs generated by various products.

As a Business Intelligence Lead within the Cloud Support Organization, you will be responsible for the underlying data sets to ensure we have one view of the customer across the various pillars in the organization, which will include being responsible for building and maintaining the data analytics infrastructure. Yo will demonstrate your effective leadership as well as a deep technical expertise to shape discussions on relevant metrics and data signals to define an excellent user support experience. The metrics and analyses the team develops will serve as a key input in strategic planning and decision-making for the Google Cloud Support team, covering financial actuals, products/usage growth, support interactions, people productivity and customer data metrics. You will provide the business with the best view to understand the performance of its operations and make decisions based on the data. Minimum qualifications: * 10 years of relevant work experience, designing and developing data models and data warehouses. * 10 years of experience in building/leading teams, retaining/growing talent, setting priorities, managing projects in an analytical capacity, and partnering with Support/Sales/Engineering/Services teams and customers to build BI solutions. Preferred qualifications: * Master's degree or an advanced degree in a technical or scientific field of study or equivalent practical experience. * Experience in programming languages (e.g., Python, Ruby, Java, etc.). * Fluent in SQL with excellent data analysis and data modeling skills. * Proficient in using Google internal business intelligence tools (e.g., Dremel, BigQuery, Data Studio, Looker, Tableau, Spotfire, etc.) to develop and enhance dashboards and reports. * Expertise in designing databases, defining and implementing system requirements for data collection and maintaining ETL for structured and unstructured data sources. * Ability to communicate and influence effectively by presenting data in a compelling way. * Build, manage, and maintain end-to-end Google Cloud Support data infrastructure, and provide thought leadership around designing the backend data architecture that scales well with the growing needs of the business. * Develop analytical frameworks, maintain roadmaps, pipelines, and metrics for the Google Support team that align with the broader organization's goals. * Design, write and support extract, transform, and load (ETL) processes to automate data collection and manage reporting processes/pipelines including data quality and monitoring. * Partner with Support Leadership to identify KPIs/key metrics and build data reporting tools to measure results and success.
