We are looking for our next Professional Services Capability Lead to join New Signature's Delivery Management team. The primary business driver and purpose of the Professional Services Capability Lead position is to be the subject matter expert in Delivery Management resource capability development and delivery methodology development/maintenance for the Delivery Management function. This is a new position inside of New Signature as we pivot from a centralized Project Management Office and Service Delivery Management team to a regional operating model and establish the PS Capability Lead as part of this transition. This position will report to the North America VP, Delivery Management & Operations.
Work in collaboration with Regional Delivery Management Leads to Influence and support regions to obtain 70%+ utilization for all NA Project Managers and Service Delivery Managers
Establish and/or evolve New Signature standards for delivery management, including creation/maintenance of templates, tools implementation, documenting best practices (e.g. status reporting, quality assurance, etc.) and enhancing delivery methodology
Establish continuous improvement feedback mechanisms for peer feedback and sharing, capturing best practices and reusable assets, and improving delivery quality through self-improvement initiatives
Facilitate and coordinate the process reengineering team in the continuous improvement and maintenance of methodology documentation
Improve the capability and maturity of the regional Project Managers and Service Delivery Managers over time through training programs, coaching and targeted hiring
Serve as a Senior Subject Matter Expert when a delivery situation cannot be solved within the region
PS Capability Lead should attain personal utilization of 30% through a combination of pre-sales/Subject Matter Expertise support, quality assurance activities, or other senior level Delivery Management support for customer projects/services
Oversee New Signature delivery and support standard of no less than 20% onsite delivery for all Professional Services engagements in North America.
Provide guidance and framework around Customer Satisfaction and quality programs.
Partner with the People Team to ensure no less than 90% of North American client-facing employees consume 80 hours of purposeful training per year to keep their skills fresh and market-relevant.
Develop quality audit structure to ensure minimum of 75% of NEW regional projects adopt the New Signature delivery methodology
Establish a quality assurance framework/program
Adherence to New Signature and Client Information Security policies shall be met and followed at all times
10+ years of project management experience within the IT project field
BA/BS degree or equivalent desired
Ability to apply proven project management methodologies and practices, including: IT Implementation (e.g. CMM and CMMI), IT Service delivery and Support (e.g. ITIL Foundation), or Project Management fundamentals (e.g. PMI or equivalent)
Strong customer service orientation
Demonstrated understanding of delivery management as a strategic asset, a basis for continuous improvement and the role of driving organizational maturity in an evolving environment
Strong interpersonal and communication abilities
Supervisory experience and/or program management of teams
Analytical and critical problem solving
Attention to detail in both administrative and project/program activities
Demonstrated familiarity and experience in using MS Project / Project Online
Travel up to 30% required
