The Professional Services Executive (PSE) works directly with our customers to provide intelligent insights and collaboratively develop customized solutions to ensure that the sales goal for the given territory is met or exceeded. Recommends IT enablers and consulting service engagements that enable health care providers (from laboratories to public hospitals to private integrated delivery systems) to improve their performance. Works closely with the larger Sales team and helps to support the development of our informatics solutions specialists.

Position Territory:

  • The territory covers all of the West Coast

  • Qualified candidates must currently live near a major airport.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Lead and execute complex contract negotiations to achieve the sales quota for given customer base. Create strong territory and strategic account plans to lay out strategic approach and share best practices with larger Sales team to help drive a culture of excellence.

  • Research target accounts to understand performance KPIs and customer strategies to drive conversations that demonstrate how the application of IT enablers and service solutions in/outside of the lab and across the broader healthcare space can improve performance KPIs and strategies.

  • Act as the central point of contact for the customer from beginning to end - closely facilitate process steps to ensure exceptional satisfaction (conduct informatics products demonstrations, engage appropriate subject matter expertise, set up statements of work, etc.).

  • Help implement and oversee the quality of deliverables and effectively manage the team and day-to-day relationships to ensure exceptional performance, acts as a trusted advisor to the customer.

  • Build and persevere strong customer relationships to drive new sales, protect base business, and assess needs and care-about, including with senior key decision makers and stakeholders in the C-Suite.

  • Act entrepreneurial and help our team to continually push our creative boundaries by proactively identifying and recommending customer-centric business opportunities with the potential to increase satisfaction and engagement.

  • Navigate within a highly matrixed environment using strong communication and interpersonal skills to coordinate appropriate Abbott resources and support necessary

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE YOU'LL BRING

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 4 years of experience selling software solutions/services; experience within the healthcare environment preferred.

  • Experience with building business on current accounts and creating new profitable accounts.

Preferred:

  • Understand IT technology within hospital environment; strong understanding on how technology drives value in the broader healthcare space preferred.

  • Ability to travel up to 75% in assigned territory and other locations in the US to attend training and support business needs.

The 1W Child Psychiatric Unit at Spring Harbor Hospital specializes in the care of children. We offer a 12-bed unit designed for the care of children, generally ages from 6-12 years old and as young as 4, who require acute mental health treatment. Typically, these patients are an#imminent risk to themselves or others, or are unable to function at a lower level of care due to their psychiatric symptoms. Our multidisciplinary patient care team specializes in the treatment of diagnoses most commonly found in children and adolescents. These include: Depression Disruptive Behavior Disorders Emerging Psychotic Disorders Anxiety Disorders Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder Substance Use Disorders Unit programming includes comprehensive psychiatric evaluation, medication management, individual and family therapy, occupational therapy, yoga and on-site academic tutoring. Our facility also includes access to a gym and outside playground and courtyard areas. Spring Harbor treats children and adolescents from throughout Maine. Our multidisciplinary team includes medical providers, occupational therapists, social work clinicians, and nursing staff. Treatment plans for youth are individualized. Treatment may include engagement in dialectical behavioral therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy skills groups, psychoeducation groups, individual and milieu therapies, occupational therapy, and Individual psychotherapy. Medication providers may also recommend psychotropic medication as part of the treatment.
