Job Title: Professional Resource Coordinator

Reports To: Director of Educational Services

Contract: 10-month

SUMMARY: Responsible for the daily operation of the Career Resource Center. Conduct assessment of secondary and adult students, individual tutoring services, and curriculum and software support for instructors.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Work cooperatively with administration, instructors and staff regarding Career Resource Center activities including certification testing and Career Tech Student Organization testing.

Work cooperatively with Educational Services to provide academic support services for students including tutoring, test taking skills, and ACT prep.

Work cooperatively with Instructional Services to provide support for instructors, to include assisting with CANVAS training and instructional support software used in program areas.

Work cooperatively with other agencies to provide appropriate educational programs for students and clients.

Develop and coordinate special projects as needed.

Assist with curriculum development and updates, learning academic packets, and online learning platforms.

Work collaboratively with Career Connection Coordinator with plans of study, resumes, job readiness, Work-Based Learning, and portfolio preparations.

Maintain and Administer ODCTE Occupational Competency tests and results.

Coordinate maintenance of records and reports as required by ODCTE and local district within the required deadline.

Develop and maintain a testing schedule with instructors and the BIS department.

Responsible for entering student certifications into the student accounting software.

Order, prepare, and administer College Board tests to students.

Create and maintain an Accuplacer Score Sheet to help understand results.

Maintain state testing dates with partner school testing coordinators including ACT and AP.

Assist short-term and adjunct instructors with curriculum instruction/design.

Maintain professional competence through participation in professional activities and organizations.

Coordinate Credit Recovery Program.

Expand testing options for students and clients, as designated by the five-year strategic plan.

Develop individual program of work that is consistent with the philosophy, goals, and objectives of EOC Technology Center's strategic plan.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree preferred with three to five years teaching experience. Proficient in curriculum design and development.

Language Skills: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.

Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers and the general public.

Mathematical Skills: Ability to work with and apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical situations.

Reasoning Ability: Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

Other Skills and Abilities: Good communication skills.

Ability to operate specific equipment or tools. Ability to work with specific computer software.
