Full-Time, Exempt

This position within the Shared Services Team oversees, participates in and at times leads the coordination, development and delivery of Operations Documentation and Training material This position supports all Operations Shared Services efforts related to the development of new manuals, maintenance or revision of existing manuals and training on all manuals utilized by the department. This includes but is not limited to the Claims Examiners Manual and other manuals required to accurately process provider, facility and subscriber claims.

Training activities could include leading formalized classes for Member Operations, Claims Configuration, Enrollment and Provider Data Management teams. Acts as a liaison with Management and staff to build training partnerships and evaluate future documentation and training requirements including but not limited to performing needs analysis, developing lesson plans and job aids, establishing trainee evaluations, maintaining class records and reports training activities. Performs other duties as assigned.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Education:

2-year college degree in Education, Business Administration or equivalent background in Health Insurance or related business experience

Minimum Experience:

2+ years Claims Processing. Provider, or Enrollment experience. Demonstrated knowledge and proven ability to accurately read, comprehend and interpret complex health care regulations and claims processing guidelines. 2+ Years' experience producing technical, policy, procedure and operational business manuals preferred.

Required Skills:

Demonstrated proficiency in the Microsoft Suite of Applications, especially Microsoft Excel and Word. Ability to manage multiple assignments with a high level of autonomy and independence.

Excellent organizational and communication skills, including both written and verbal. Ability to professionally communicate with all interdisciplinary team members. Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Demonstrated knowledge of Facets. Detail oriented with strong organizational skills including the ability to manage time wisely to meet established deadlines. Ability to work in an energetic team environment.

Proven ability to meet project related deadlines and time constraints. Experience with situations requiring strict adherence to confidentiality. Ability to solve problems while exhibiting the ability to communicate solutions to detailed claims processing issues. Ability to make independent decisions regarding student performance and be willing to communicate performance challenges to management.
